I just ordered this a few days ago because the glare in my office from this window was making it incredibly uncomfortable to work. The product came quickly and I got it set up in a manner of minutes. It’s beautiful, especially up close with the sun hitting it, the glare is gone, my office is cooler, and I’ve received tons of compliments. It’s easy to use as well. Measure, cut, then spray water mixed with dish soap on both the window and the film, and then lay it. Love having these on my windows. No need for curtains anymore!!! Brightens the room during the day and I feel I have more privacy at night. No signs of fading or peeling off after months. At night, from outside view, it looks like a calming night light. Relatively easy to put up. Place over window to get a rough cut, THOROUGHLY clean glass, peel off backing, use water in a spray bottle, spray window, place screen and the most important part is cutting. Use a fresh razor and card of sorts to press against frame and once you start cutting DO NOT LIFT RAZOR! This will lead to jagged edges. Easy to use, and works great for blocking the view out of the back patio sliding door window so my dog barks at things a lot less. Wish you got more on the roll than you do for the price. New window installed with a curved transom at the top. It gets full sun in the late morning/afternoon. We installed light filtering shades on the lower half of the window. A shade for the curved transom would have to be custom made which is expensive. We found the window film on Amazon and much better price. I rarely do reviews but I HAD to for this. It was fairly easy to do and seems to be staying up well. I had blinds in the shower which was both unsightly and yucky.     • Do not follow the directions!

I received this window film last week and installed it. It was very very difficult with the directions that it gave. It said to leave a 1 inch overlap on all sides. Don’t do it. I just received a message from the seller saying to cut the film to the exact window size. This would’ve been very helpful if I had gotten this message before I actually applied the window film. Cut the film to the exact size of the window! Do not leave any extra because it’s impossible to cut with a razor blade. It was very frustrating. Razor blade made a mark, but I had to lift the film and actually cut it with a sharp pair of scissors. Be sure to spray the window and the back and the front of the film with water. If you do not spray the front, it will take the decoration off. Be gentle. Once I got it up, it’s beautiful. But it was very frustrating because I did leave 1 inch on all sides. ... show more
