It is a pretty bed, true twin XL (fits 80” long mattress) and instructions are amazing, making it super simple to put together. My husband and I put it together is an hour working together (we are good at these things so it might take you longer but be assured the instructions are good and clear!) Looks good. No scratches at all. But. It is super flimsy. I got it for our young adult son to sleep on when he’s home from college but it wobbles and I don’t think it will last through the summer. I only bought it because my son is tall and regular twin would have been less comfortable. If I knew how unsturdy this bed would be, I wouldn’t have bought it and would have instead purchased IKEA Hemnes (twin, same concept and much sturdier - we owned one) Overall, I wouldn’t even know how to return it so don’t know what to do now… Giving 2 stars - because it is a good looking bed and assembly was easy. ... show more

Pretty bed, but just poor quality. drawers are extremely difficult to open and are harder to close. If you don't plan to use the drawers, maybe it would work for you. We also didn't like how the bottom part moves when getting into the bed, leaving it wider when you go to get out, risking scraping your legs or tripping. Be very sure if you want to risk this product as it is more expensive to ship back than the bed costs and the seller tries to blame how it was assembled instead of just owning that it is a cheaply made product. ... show more

    • Front pannel broken
The front pannel was broken I installed a bracket to hold it in place. The drawers are a little small. The construction seem solid (except fron pannel).
