This soil is perfect it already has nutrients in it allow my vegetables to feed for a little while, I do also wanna add that the soil was a darker then other soils I used to buy, which I believe is because of the compost that’s in it which is telling me there isn’t a whole lot of peat moss and the soil mixture was perfect I seen a good amount of perlite, a good amount of coco coir/ peat moss, and good amount of compost!     • Best Potting Blend on the Market!
Coast of Maine is my absolute favorite soil brand. The ingredients are nutritionally sound for almost any plant, and I've never had an issue with mold or fungus gnats upon opening a bag - unlike MiracleGro, which should've been called MiracleMold. The scent of CoM is always very fresh and earthy. In my area, I'm rarely able to find Coast of Maine and when I do, it's in small 8qt bags. Finding these 2ft³ bags is a dream!! I was worried the bags would bust open during shipping and I'd open the box to find loose soil everywhere, but I've never had any issues with any of my shipments from either Hearthshire or Esbenshades, though I've never received any from other vendors so I can't speak to how those would arrive. All in all, if you want wonderful soil blends or amendments, Coast of Maine is your best bet. ... show more

I really like this dirt. It contained no bugs or trash that some reviews of other products have mentioned. I was so impressed that I ordered two more bags. Good stuff.

I selected this brand to try based on positive reviews, specs, and price. It was a fraction of the cost of what I normally buy, but it’s supposed to be good quality. It had weed seeds in it. It doesn’t retain moisture well and my seedlings showed signs of calcium deficiency, so I immediately had to procure a supplement. It’s still expensive especially when considering the poor quality of this product. It’s not worth the price. ... show more
