Liquitex is the gold standard in student grade (and many would argue professional grade) quality paint. Recently I've used many many many tubes of florescent Liquitex paints in my work. The florescent is extremely difficult for me to find locally so I often rely on Amazon to get orders to me FAST. AND I know it comes directly from Liquitex so no middleman. Basics is a quality product with good artist quality pigments just in lower concentrations than the heavy body line. The colors are vibrant with a decent light fastness which as a professional artist I count on. The Basics line offers excellent value for the quantity of paint received when I don't want to burn through tubes of paint on large scale projects. Love this paint. Its consistent every time I order any color - Color is vibrant, texture is perfect and it doesnt dry too fast. Mixes well with mediums for pour painting too. Its not as pricey as others, but also not as cheap as others - Good middle of the road acrylic paint.
