As an acrylic painter for like 20 years, this is by far the best black paint for my style. It’s deep, dark, fully coating black. It’s smooth, glossy, and thick. You can add a bit of water as needed for details. I don’t mind using like cheap craft paint, for colors, but for black I need this. It’s very crispy. Craft paint black is more like grey in comparison. I tried to find a few of my paintings that had a decent amount of black in them to show what it looks like after it’s dried and on canvas. A little goes a long way and you can usually get a lot of use out of this. I have plenty of paintings with fully black backgrounds, and I do a decent amount of black outlines and I rarely have to buy more. ... show more
