Pulling this handbrake out of the box, I was very pleased from the start. The quality of it is really good, it's got a great feel to it. The actual handle has a piece of foam wrapped around it, for more money I'd expect something a little better, but the solution they use is comfortable and great for the price. When I first plugged it in - there was an issue where the handbrake was delayed about 1 second. Tested in Dirt Rally 2.0 and iRacing, then verified in DiView calibration software. I logged into my Amazon to message the seller, but I already had a message waiting for me! The seller reached out preemptively to let me know that a few handbrakes went out with the wrong chip, mine included. After supplying my address, I had a replacement part at my door within 1-2 days - outstanding! One allen key and a supplied zip-tie later and I was back in business. It now works without delay. There is a small amount of noise in the movement but I don't hear it when I play so it doesn't bother me one bit. For the price, this is amazing. For the amount I use the handbrake, I did not want to spend money on a fancy brand, and I'm very, very happy I got this for my rig. I purchased this handbrake 1 month ago and have been using it heavily since. It was practically plug and play, assembly out of the box was simple, and after tightening and loosening a few screws here and there, and tuning the handbrake in all of my games, I had it up and running. It feels great to use but there are a few flaws/cons that I wish I knew about before purchasing: 1. The design is literally a spring loaded screw scraping against the side of the handbrake, so the nice powder coat of paint gets scraped off down to bare metal which creates a grinding feeling when using for the first hour 2. Vibrations from use can easily cause screws to back out, so I had to use some loctite to secure them 3. Arrived with a strange large metal plate, probably for mounting to a rig, that came without instructions 4. The padding on the handle feels great, but it's foam without any vinyl cover so I feel that it will deteriorate over time Other than the issues listed above, I've been enjoying this product a lot. Here are some highlights about the product: 1. It feels very smooth after breaking it in 2. The design and hardware allows for lots of ergonomic customization 3. Comes with sturdy a desk clamp with hardware and tools to assemble 4. Has a cool white LED underneath it which adds ambience to my setup Overall I would recommend this product to someone on a tight budget, but I would look for a handbrake with some kind of piston to generate air/hydraulic pressure so you don't have to deal with the paint scraping off. Pretty good build quality although some questionable design choices as to how they routed the USB cable to the switch within. While it is well built, there are some wear parts that are just metal to metal contact which will wear away the finish in that area. If you live in a dust/fur free area then a little bit of grease would help. Maybe some plastic washers... I have used it without any of those 2 things for about 2 months now and things still looks and works fine though! ... show more

This item worked exactly once before becoming completely defective. Windows calibration test (game controller settings) shows that this device toggles between 0 and 25% axis input with zero alternative despite hours of troubleshooting as an IT professional. My intention was to use this device as a helicopter collective controller for my flight sim software, for which it worked exactly one time before completely ceasing in functionality. The media could not be loaded. Its a cheap handbrake but it does the job, its well built and it lasts. I’ve been olaying with it for the past couple days and its very easy to setup and mount. I do recommend 9/10
