Once upon a time in November 2022, we embarked on a colorful adventure by purchasing curtains in Orange, Blue, Purple, Green, and Grey. Spoiler alert: they're not blackout, but they do manage to keep us from waking up like squinting vampires. Wrinkles? Oh, they are wrinkle magnets. But fear not, for an iron or a steamy spin in the machine can tame these unruly fabric beasts. The colors and lengths? Just as advertised, no magical shrinking or color-changing shenanigans here. Enter Arizona's relentless sunlight, dust storms, pet fur, and sticky kiddo fingers—these curtains have seen it all. With up to 10 pets (yes, you read that right) at any given time, including naughty cats and adventurous dogs, these curtains have been tested to the max. And let's not forget the mini humans with their sticky fingers adding their own brand of chaos. Despite our complete disregard for proper care instructions (sanitary hot water washes, anyone?), these curtains have endured no fewer than 25 scalding hot washes. Oh, and air drying? Forget about it—fur and lint removal required dryer intervention. So, after two years of absolute mistreatment and survival in the face of Arizona's fury, these curtains have held up remarkably well. It’s time for a fresh set, but honestly, they've been worth every penny. Sure, the sun bleached them in places (thanks, Arizona), and the grommets and those pretty silver designing were no match for our hot water washing spree. Out of 26 panels, two grommets called it quits, and seven others are threatening to join the rebellion. The silver designs are entirely gone from the grey and faded from the blue, the other colors maybe didn't get washed as much? And the dryer? Well, it did its best to shrink a set by 1-2 inches with its accidental high-heat shenanigans. But hey, it’s barely noticeable. In conclusion, all these 'issues' are on us for treating the curtains like they were made of indestructible fabric. But even with our improper care, these curtains have been a bargain and lasted just as long as expected. So there you have it, the saga of our indestructible yet mistreated curtains. They might not be perfect, but they’ve certainly earned their place in our home. ... show more

This panel pair is beautiful, soft, not too heavy, but it does black out about 95%. Since I hung them, I have noticed that my bedroom is cooler as well. The material strong and durable I’ve had these curtains for over 4years. I’ve washed, iron and rehung them; the color has not faded, the design is classy. Feels great looks great just an inch or two shorter than other products that say its 84 inches long(height). Since it's white with patterns the light does go through a little so it's not really a blackout curtain. Width is good.
