My very first microphone arm and it looks amazing. Holds my Rode NT USB+ sturdy and well, No complaints. Just notice that if you install the arm on the left side of the table you won't see the nice 'G' logo letter on the arm joints.

Darn! I love EVERYTHING about this arm except the mount. It really is perfect and the joints hold where you put them but mount needs space and/or enough of a lip on your desktop to install. It does not come with a clamp screw that you can slide back and forth in order to get the mount into tight angles like nearly every other mic arm. Instead it comes with a big plastic nut! This would be PERFECT if not for that. Also, unfortunately, you can't just use other old mount if you have one (like me) because the hole that holds the arm is bigger than those. I'd like to give 3 1/2 stars for this lack of screw mount. Hope they change it up on future designs because the rest of this boom is really, really great.

After using this mildly for a month, it broke in both joints, 1 at a time , i tried everything to fix it but nothing works. It was stable in the beginning then it just snapped

Undoubtably the best boom arm I've ever had. It's VERY heavy duty and the joints don't move if you don't want them too. I have a Blue Yeti mic with a very heavy metal halo thingie around it so it doesn't vibrate. This is the only boom arm I've used that can handle that weight without drooping. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I work at a pretty hectic workstation, recording music for my day job and creating videos for music and other projects. So I wanted something that wouldn't move around too much but would also hold my mic well. I use a studio condenser mic, and I needed a boom arm that would accommodate a heavier-than-usual mic. This arm fit the bill perfectly. It is amazingly sturdy, and the locking mechanisms on the joints are almost unmovable when clamped. The desk mount clam is much deeper than other arms I have tried, so it fits well with my thick wooden desktop. I also love the ball joint device end of the arm, which allows for unlimited angles and positions for the mic or device attached. This is a great boom arm and something that will be a staple of my work and play area for a long time!
