Thank goodness I found this! I’m a 44-year old woman who recently decided to learn Spanish after my husband took a job with a company that employs lots of Spanish speakers. I began tutoring but needed something more to help me with the basics. This book is doing the job!! I love this book. I am glad I chose this one out of all the other ones. I'm sure there's other good ones but I love the simplicity of this one. The colors were nice not overbearing and overstimulating, the book really does start with the basics. I am Spanish, it is my first language and feel the pronunciation was pretty accurate. I haven't seen every single page to see if there was any mistypo but I would say at least from my experience up to now, it's a great book for beginners. My son doesn't read or write in Spanish so I bought this with the hopes he will gain the knowledge he needs. We no longer live in times when English will do. There is real competition out there. Learning a second language is a very important skill set to have so I congratulate all parents buying these books, encouraging and teaching their children to learn a secondary language. ... show more

Really looking forward to using this for my 1st grader this fall. It has about 180 work pages which will work out perfectly for 1 page a day. I was hoping this would be dry erase but didn’t see that option. My daughter is already very excited and so am I! See pic of example pages.
