I’m used to using Susan Bates inline hooks and was disappointed when I bought her tiny steel hooks to find they weren’t inline. They were difficult to use so seeing these Clover Amour hooks recommended as being closer to inline I bought one to try it out. I’m really happy with it. It’s quite easy to crochet with and is clearly a well-made hook with a metal cap, comfortable grip & size embossed on the handle too. If you really want vintage SB inline hooks (made in USA) you can hunt them down on Etsy or eBay but these Clover Amour hooks work so well so I’ll be buying more of these. ... show more

I use this for dreadlock maintenance. It works GREAT, and doesn't bend like the other cheap ones (of similar price) My only complaint is that its SHARP and if i'm not careful will make my thumbs bleed if I poke them.

It comes with a metal sheath to protect the fine metal hook. I did not realize it when I ordered that this comes from Great Britain. It took around three weeks. Would like a thicker handle, but the plastic is grippy and the triangular shape is easier than round shape to hold.
