This light was very simple to install with very clear instructions. It looks more expensive & sleek than expected at this price point. I (68 y.o. female) installed it on the ceiling of a covered porch & operate it with an Alexa enabled Gosund wi-fi switch with zero compatibility issues. I couldn't keep gnats and other small insects out of the shade of the light I replaced with this one, so I especially appreciate that the cover seems to seal up nice & tight (tip: once I had it firmly mounted, I used small squares of electrical tape to cover the screw holes for extra insurance against insect entry into the shade). I wrapped the body of the light with a strip of painter's tape to make it easier to get a clean line where I caulked between the light and the ceiling. The color temperature of the light is very easy to adjust with a switch located on the side body of the fixture. I am very, very pleased with this product! ... show more

This light was super easy to install, was reasonably priced, and was delivered quickly. I like that I can control the brightness without having to remove the fixture from the ceiling (thank you for that!) It really adds class to a previously neglected area of my patio.

I was looking for smart lights in a classic and modern style with better LED functionality… and I found them! You can customize the white color temperature and brightness which will save even when you turn it off with a wall switch. You can customize your own RGB colors and brightness, then set up “scenes” in their app to turn your house into a rave. Lights can be grouped with different settings for each group too. I just wish it had compatibility with Smart Things (Samsung) not just Google or Alexa. Each took 10 minutes to install. Only real complaint is the color/quality of the plastic dome — would be nicer looking if it was a “warmer” color with less sheen, which makes it scream cheap plastic. Easy to install! Plastic shield/diffuser so it won’t break easily flush mount so it doesn’t collect dust. Looks pretty nice actually! Definitely worth the $30 I spent on it I bought the NON-Alexa enabled choice which gives the choice of white light in various “warmths” so you can make it look cold and clinical or warm and cozy with just a switch!     • Unhappy with Product Lifespan
I installed two of these in April of this year. By mid-September one had ceased to work. The warranty period needs to be longer on items of this type. I've just now written to the company, so to be fair they haven't had a chance to respond yet. However, Amazon needs to have a policy requiring a longer period for defective items. ... show more
