It’s sturdy enough to hold my 14-inch mattress and comfortably supports me as a plus-size woman without any creaking or wobbling. The design is sleek and low-profile, which I really like, and it feels very solid overall. The only downside is that the wooden slats at the end sometimes pop out of place, and I have to lift the mattress to put them back. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s a little inconvenient.

I love it! I bought a new mattress that was 14” and too high for me to get in and out of bed. So got this, getting rid of box spring. I put it together myself, 68 year old lady with terrible right knee, and bad back. It was pretty easy actually, except for attaching the footboard and headboard to the long sides. I’m quite proud of myself. Pretty, and my pup can jump from the end seat up to mattress. We’re all happy.
