With so many counterfeit items it's always worrisome and you never know what you're going to get. Happy to say that I received a genuine item. As expected, ink quality is top notch and prints are sharp. I used to use the cheaper third party ink refills until they destroyed my printhead on my last printer and I had to buy a new printer after just 1 year. Canon wouldn't honor a warranty repair because I used non-Canon ink... which is aggravating, but kind of understandable. So for the duration of the 1-year warranty period of my new printer, I'm going to fork up the money and use Canon inks. ... show more
