I bought these for cable hip abductor moves, and I must say- game changer! I workout at a small apartment gym with minimal gym equipment. One thing I missed however from working out at the commercial gym I used to go to was the abductor machine, and these fix that! Resistance bands, and plated leg raises don’t do the trick quite like these. They stay in place, they are comfortable and I really feel it deep in my abductors right where I want the work! Can also be used for cable step out squats which I find much more comfortable and targets my leg and glute muscles where I want it to better than ankle straps.     • Works out perfectly!
I use these to do cable clamshells and cable kickbacks. They workout better for ankle straps than the ankle straps I bought. The only problem I have so far is that the ring twists and I could see it eventually ripping off, but otherwise it’s a great product.

I've had these for years but I didn't use them consistently until now, whenever I go heavier than 20lb they loose grip. It could be from age but they were in mint condition until I started using them. Loved them for cable fire hadrant exercises or whatever they're called but for the ankle is a nope for me. Had to order some that had the cable connection on both sides. ... show more

These are very comfortable when used for straps on larger bodied persons. I would definitely recommend this for others to use if they needed straps for large wrist/ankles that need to be strapped down. It has a very nice padding on the inside and sturdy velcro.

I have been using Body Solid Thigh Straps , TS31, for probably 30 years. I use it with a low cable (about 8 inches above the floor) on my universal gym with 115 lbs. I then move my right leg away from the universal gym for 25 times. Then put the strap on my left leg and do the same. With time the velcro degrades and I have to buy a new one. I could not find the TS31 available so I bought the CLISPEED. Within about 5 to 10 seconds the metal ring broke. I thought that the particular ring was defective so I tried the other strap. Again it broke in about 5 to 10 seconds. In the second picture you can see the broken CLISPEED rings and above them is the ring from my Body Solid TS31. You can see that the diameter of the Body Solid ring is 2 times or more the diameter of the CLISPEED. No surprise that it broke. So unless you want a thigh strap that can handle only VERY LOW weights, AVOID IT. After this fiasco I found the Body Solid TS31 available online and bought two of them. And so you don't think that I use excessive force, I am 80 years old, 5 foot 10 inches high and weight 140 lbs. Younger people who are more muscular than I will use much more force. I've been rehabbing from a knee injury so having a strap that went above my knee was essential. These straps worked perfectly. They have a nice long Velcro segment for lots of adjust-ability.

    • Velcro is a weak spot
I use these thigh straps a little "off label", I don't use them on a cable machine, I use them as leg lifters. I live with multiple sclerosis and as a result of the MS my legs have weakened considerably, and I am no longer able to lift my legs, such as into or out of bed, up and down a short stairway I need to navigate, in and out of the car, and even in and out of my wheelchair. I attach a 12 inch velcro strap between the D-rings to use as a handle, and they work wonderfully for lifting my legs in all those mentioned situations. They are so useful in fact that I leave them on my leg all day for lifting and repositioning my legs. Unfotunately after a only a few weeks of use I find that the "gripper" side of the velcro on the first 2 sets I purchased is wearing out very quickly, to the point that they will soon be useless. After seeing how well they worked for me when I got the first 2 pairs I ordered several more, but it appears I need to keep looking for something better. ... show more
