  • Cute and functional
It’s a very cute lil controller, and was easy to set up. Though i did sit for maybe 2-3 minutes waiting to see if itd show up in the bluetooth settings. (You just connect it through clip studio) it does take some time getting used to, i will say in comparison to having used a cintiq controller which is flat. If you ever used a wii nunchuck or other game controllers similar, its what i can say its comparable to when holding it. Along with it being pretty light weight which i wasn't expecting it to be. If you plan on buying one make sure to keep a spare double A battery as it does need one to operate instead of being a charging unit. ... show more

  • Do not purchase this.
The Clip Studio Tabmate 2 (International Version) left me thoroughly disappointed. Right out of the box, the unit felt cheaply made—the plastic housing had visible seams, the buttons didn’t click with any satisfying quality, and the overall build did not convey the durability I expect from a professional accessory. More importantly, it did not work out of the box: despite following setup instructions exactly, my system failed to recognize the device, and repeated attempts at driver installs and firmware checks yielded no result. For a controller that’s marketed toward creative professionals, the basic experience should never come down to guesswork and constant troubleshooting. In daily use, the Tabmate 2 continued to underperform. Even when it did sporadically connect, the responsiveness was laggy and inconsistent, and several of the shortcut buttons either didn’t register or triggered the wrong commands. The international version’s promise of plug-and-play convenience didn’t materialize for me at all—what should have been a fluid extension of my workflow became an ongoing frustration. At this price point, I expected a more reliable build and a smoother setup experience; as it stands, I can’t recommend the Tabmate 2 to other artists or designers looking for a dependable input device. ... show more

  • Good product with huge downside
Really glad to get an upgrade that's compatible with apple devices, but disappointed that it only works with devices that have an updated CSP 3.0 subscription! It does NOT work with my devices that are still on version 2, so I'm stuck waiting for a sale to upgrade & get rid of my tabmate 1 :-(

  • All modes work on a Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra! All modes work on a Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra!
Edit 2: It's been over a year, and I've finally had to change the batteries. The automatic time-out works really well to conserve power! (I've unfortunately become way too adjusted to using the Tabmate, and it's hard to use non-CSP programs to draw lmao) Edit: so far 3 months and I haven't changed out the batteries. I do many long drawing sessions per day, so I'd say the battery life is really good. It auto times out after a certain point, so it saves quite a bit Initially I was going to use the tabmate2 mainly on my desktop and occasionly on my tablet (I wasn't entirely thrilled by the idea of not being able to remap the buttons) After connecting it to my s10 Ultra, it allowed me to change and use all modes! To me, this is huge, as I use my tablet as my main drawing device and do editing on my desktop. It also makes doing work on the go way easier. (Galaxy Ultra phones are limited to simple mode when I tested it out) Connecting it and changing the button settings is incredibly easy and straight forward. The tabmate itself feels nice and solid. I was worried it would feel like it'd break if thrown in a bag or accidentally flung off a desk. (Also - If you can't find the 12 month code for debut, its on the front of the box when you open it up! I missed it at first) I'll update this when I have more insight on how long the battery lasts ... show more

  • Love this Love this
Good enough for small hands, very handy. Trigger kinna hard to use dont recommend putting a common command for the trigger. Great companion to work with the wacom remote. And price is excellent.

  • It's cool but...
It's cool. It's easy to learn, and when it works it's great. But... it doesn't really work. It disconnects way too often, then it won't wake up. It'll switch modes for no reason. At first I thought the one I got was defective, so i exchanged it for a new one, but the same thing occurred. So either there's a really bad batch out there, or it's a crappy product. It's also tiny, I don't have giant meat hooks for hands, but it's small enough where I'll accidentally hit buttons without intending to. Keep that in mind. it sucks, I've been really into clip studio and developing comics and I wanted to love it — but it needs to work in order for me to do so. ... show more
