Listen, if there’s one eyeliner I can’t live without, it’s this little gem right here—the CLIO Sharp So Simple Waterproof Pencil Liner. I’ve been using it for years, and every time I try something new, I always come running back. I love a crisp, defined eye, especially in my waterline, but I also like a soft, smudgy edge that gives that effortless, sultry look. A brush liner? Too harsh and way too high-stakes—I don’t have the patience for perfection on the first try! But this pencil? It’s the perfect balance of precision and forgiveness. Is it totally budge-proof for 12 hours straight? Not quite, but with my oily lids (even with primer), I can get a solid 7 AM to 2 PM wear time before I need a quick refresh. And for me, that’s impressive. Plus, if you use eyelid tape, this liner actually adheres well and still pops—though, fair warning, it’s a little less forgiving on tape if you make a mistake. The deep black shade is rich and bold, absolutely perfect for tight-lining my upper lashes. But my secret sauce? I layer it! Black on the waterline, dark brown above it, and then another soft brown on top—it gives the eyes such a dimensional, polished look. I do wish they had a shade between black and dark brown, but honestly, the formula and smooth application keep me hooked. One thing to note: this liner sometimes goes out of stock on Amazon, so if you see it available and you’re running low, order a batch! Nothing’s worse than scrambling for a replacement and having to settle for something that just doesn’t measure up. Whenever I’m in Asia, I stock up like crazy because I refuse to be without it. Long story short: if you love an eyeliner that’s sleek, smooth, and easy to work with while still staying put, this is THE ONE. I’ll be using it for years to come!

I bought this product earlier and have been very happy with the results, and wanted to have a back up for when I run out! The fine barrel and twist for more product makes it easy to use and a great everyday eyeliner. I do find that my wing ends are smudged off by the end of the day, but i also notoriously touch my eyes!

-Glides on well and smoothly and yet doesn't smudge everywhere after many hours -the fine point is finer than some other liners I have, which is great if you like to do a more delicate or sharp wing -Color is great, very pigmented and a nice rich neutral dark brown-black

This pencil is dry does not have the slip you get with a lot of other pencils it is a microphone tip pencil, which I appreciate. However, again it’s very dry so when you go to put it on, it’s easier to control, but you don’t have as much slip as other liners do. But if you’re looking for a very fine tip eye pencil to make a fine line or even faux freckles because it does have good wear time as well. this may be an option for you. For mature eyes think about it before you buy this one because it doesn’t have the fluidity and slip some other fine tip liners do just a thought from a mature lady.
