Use it in a small, enclosed room at 68°F–86°F (20°C–30°C) with doors and windows closed. Use a fan to improve air circulation, and keep at least 8" (20 cm) of clearance around the unit. Why does the dehumidifier stop working? If the ambient temperature is below the operating range, the dehumidifier may frost over or fail to start. Use the unit within the recommended temperature range for proper operation.
