I wanted to like this item. After 3 months the blue power indicator light stopped glowing, so there was no way to tell if it was on or not except feeling for the little bit of air it puts out the top or listening for the fan noise. It is a quiet machine. It never got full of water. It hardly seems to pull any out of the air. We used this to help in the bathroom, which it didn't seem to do anything, so I don't believe it was very efficient at pulling the moisture out of the air during showers, which is what we purchasiot for. I live in Florida and it’s humid, damp, all over. Particularly bought this for the bathroom and its fits perfectly. Small enough but mighty to get the job done. It’s quiet and has a light on the top of it. You can see it fill up and the color will change to let you know when to empty it. I love it!

I wanted this for our master bathroom (6x8) that has no exhaust fan & a window that opens to a busy street & is seldom opened. The dehumidifier size is good. But louder than I expected - can easily hear from my bed at night, even when it is sitting on carpet. On the counter, it is even louder. And it is not very effective - 2 days to get rid of 2 showers' worth of moisture. At this rate, the water collection drawer capacity is ample - doesn't fill up after running for a week (including 2 rainy days.) ... show more
