Love this seat, and so does my son. He's 4 but big for his age (46" tall and 48lbs) and has been asking for a big kid car seat once his friends started to turn 4. We had a Britax toddler seat with a 5pt harness, but also needed to give that up for the little sis, so it was clearly time to move on. I read a ton of reviews, both official safety reviews and parent feedback, and decided on this for the following reasons: 1. The high back and headrest are more comfortable for him. If he falls asleep in the car his head stays upright and he doesn't slump to any side. 2. The car seat can recline when latched and used with a reclining seat (which we don't have, yet, but will if my husband ever gets his way and we buy a minivan) 3. The headrest is just as easily adjusted as my car headrest, and this positions the seatbelt properly across his shoulder and not neck. This is way less complicated than the strap that comes with some of the booster only options. 4. This thing is SOLID! It looks and feels like a real seat and not something that my kid could destroy if left alone with it for 5 minutes. 5. The fabric feels nice, key for hot summers in PA, and claims to be stain resistant. 6. I think the thing looks great - clean and unfussy with a great color selection. 7. It comes with a cup holder. Now I know that some come with TWO, but come on, my 4 year old is super excited to have even one. Most of the time it is filled with hot wheels or playmobile figures, but he loves having a place to put his very important stuff. 8. He can now buckle himself in and do it correctly without any help from me, something he and I both love. 9. This booster is expensive but lasts for 9 years, so we'll def be using it for child number two (who isn't nearly as big as the bro and will thankfully take longer to grow out of the 5pt) The only detractors I can see are, well, nothing. All my friends claim to envy this car seat and are buying one when their kid is ready to move out of the 5pt. ... show more

I love how this is more of an actual seat! Great value for the quality and the 9 year warranty!! My daughter is very comfortable in it and hasn’t complained one time vs other seats. Super easy to install in my gmc Yukon. Great fit for my 5 year old!

Carrying the box in, I was surprised how compact, and light weighted the booster seat is. We upgraded from nuna rava since kids were above the limits, and used evenflo maestro for a while. The car seat itself fells really sturdy, and chique. It doesn't look like a regular booster seat. It is more like a modified special seat for your child, that doesn't look "childish". It is really easy to install with the isofix. Clek has steel/carbon frame, and my kids are comfortable in it. The seatbelt doesn't rollback as it would normally do with the belt holder thing, but that isn't bothering me that much. I am happy with this purchase. ... show more

I was hesitant to buy this with some people saying it wasn’t comfortable. We love how safe and stable it is and my son says it’s comfy! He had the Nuna Rava and then the britax booster. I love that this comes with a cup holder! My child upgraded to this booster from a clek fllo and I really didn’t want to spend the extra money on the cup holder when we first bought the fllo. But once we got this I was sold! Ended up buying a cup holder for our other clek fllo. I also love that the latch clicks in so easily. With the fllo, I despised lugging the huge car seat around and then having to fight with the latch system. This booster makes it so easy! Just push it in and click! There’s also a spot in the back of the seat with finger indentions so it is easier to carry. They really pulled out all the stops on this. Super sleek, convenient, and easy to install. The fact that my daughter loves it and feels like a big girl is a huge plus too! ... show more

Works great in a Ford Maverick. It’s definitely a solid booster with some decent cushioning. The recline is why I bought it though and my son seems to enjoy that feature on long drives. It’s a bit hard for him to buckle himself since the seat buckle gets stuck behind it sometimes but I’m not sure that’s Clem’s fault but it didn’t happen with the Greco we had. Still a way better booster. Surely they could make this thing for at least $100 less. ... show more

Clek never disappointed. My wife wanted to buy clek booster to match previous clek car seat foonf. Expensive than many other boosters out there. I have not tried the others but it is not that expensive considering my daughter is going to use this booster for next fee years. Sturdy and dutable as always. Easy to install. Backrest is removable as we need. Spill proof fabric for easy wipe off to clean. Armrest does not interfere while my kid put on/off seat belt. Light weight compare to foonf. ( foonf is heavy..) And my daughter feels comfortable and confidence. As mentioned, price is bit high compare to many others but if I break the price down with the length of time this seat will serve my kids, it is not too high for me to invest. Do I recommend this? Yes. Is it much better than the others? I don’t think so. ... show more
