I used on top of a faux christmas pond to keep water off lights and give it and icy look at night. Very happy with the product for the price. Also like the convenience of so many choices on sizes.

I was really hoping this tarp would hold up for my intended purpose, but unfortunately, it didn’t come close. I used it on my porch to prepare for expected rain the next day, and before the weather even arrived, a light breeze under 10 mph caused the tarp to tear cleanly along one of the seams. The material felt thinner than expected and the stitching at the edges seemed poorly reinforced. For something advertised as durable, I expected it to handle at least mild outdoor conditions, but it failed within 24 hours of setup. It’s disappointing, especially since it looked fine out of the package and seemed like it might work well. If you’re looking for something to withstand even light wind or outdoor exposure, this isn’t the one. It might work better for temporary indoor use or as a lightweight dust cover, but it’s not suitable for outdoor protection.

This worked perfect to seal our screened balcony for the winter. We used staples all around to keep it taut and secure. Our 17 year old cat likes to sleep out there, but it was getting too cold and we couldn't leave the door off the bedroom open. It went down below freezing last night, added a small room size electric heater and she stayed out there all night.

I have a screened in patio, we love sitting outside but yes in Texas it does get cold 😁 so this year I wanted to put a plastic around so it would some what stay a little warmer in there. So I ordered (3) 8x10 panels, they came in on time for Thanksgiving get together in the patio. As I was unfolding, ( it doesn’t come rolled) on some of the folds they tore as I unfolded it. So lucky for me, my genius husband asked if we can cut the panels, I had no choice I couldn’t hang them because of the tear that the panels had😔 from a simple hanging the panels we took the screens down and wrapped the screens then put the screens back on with the plastic, mind you that was more work but we got it done, the plastic is not real thick it was workable it is a milky color not (clear) keep that in mind, for the cost not that expensive so I was okay with cutting them. After I take them down I don’t think I will be able to use them again 😔 because the screens are screwed in with the plastic. So for this I gave it a 3star. Next time, I will remember to buy it only if it comes rolled and not folded. I could have sent them back, but I got them on a good sale, if I would of paid full price I would have sent them back.

Love the finished edges and pre done eyelet’s makes it easy to work with and for later storage. (It is heavy duty) Not the thin easy rip plastic. I’m using it to winterize my North facing patio door, which leaks cold air in the house. I edged the patio window inside but you can do the same outside with Velcro. I brought (hook & loop) a 30ft set. (Had about 2.5ft left over from each reel of Velcro.) Applied the tarp and it does the job to block out cold air. And if I need to open the patio door I just pull the corner and adjust it back in place when I am done. The plastic is clear enough to see outside if you’re concerned about that … just looks like you’re looking through plastic. Just trying to save on energy costs and keep the house warmer in the fall & winter months. BTW the patio door is only 5 years old the house is new construction and all the windows have to be winterized. I found this out after the first year with high energy bills. The builder obviously brought the cheapest windows possible … but that’s another issue. For now just dealing with one thing at a time. Hope this helps someone - 🙃

Purchased two of the Curfakul Clear Tarps. Put them up in our screened in porch. We had a winter storm in which one held up fantastic. But the second one the plastic totally separated from the cloth border rendering it useless. Only had it up for less than a week.
