Amazing product, I ran out of product and needed some resin in short notice. I mixed according to directions. I waited 24 hrs. Sanded smooth and works great and looks great to fill in cracks and holes in my wood project. I added powdered colorants.

This was my very 1st time using resin. I'm an xray tech and we need to use markers identifying left side vs right side. They usually cost $20 and up and they get lost all the time. Thus I figured I'd try to make my own. I'm so glad I found Dr. Resin. Not only was it absolutely simple to use, but my markers came out perfect. No bubbles. No issues and it didn't need a uv light to cure. I left them in the mold for about 2 days and they were hard and sturdy yet very lightweight when I removed them If you're a beginner, I highly recommend that you try this brand as it was soooo easy to use and I am sure you will be happy with the results. By the way the resin is crystal clear. I added some color powder to it so I can quickly grab a left or right by color when I'm doing an exam. I just ordered my second set as now I'm obsessed. Lol

Yes, it takes forever for it to start to set up (2 hours or more), even then it is still fairly liquid and doesn't solidify until hours later. However, for me, it was very forgiving, I only estimate the equal parts, and it set up clear (no bubbles after curing) and hard. Never used this type of resin epoxy before, so the price was worth it to try my hand at it. I would get something that has a quicker set time if I was to continue in this hobby. It does take a lot of mixing, I don't know how to explain it, I had just kind of hoped that I had mixed it enough before I used it. It didn't really give any indication that it was thoroughly mixed. As a final thought, it came well sealed, but you get what you see, one bottle of resin, and one bottle of hardener. I recommend gloves. It has a very slight odor, nothing harsh.

This is my second time buying this brand and am still very Pleased with the results. I make dice, chess boards, cases for dice and a lot of different things. I have tried 5 different brands and this one takes the cake for its price. I will continue to buy as long as they are still selling.

I'm new to working to resin and I've been very happy with my first choice of resins to work with. I'm almost finished with my first 64 ounces and have made many projects with it. The first time I used it, I got a few bubbles because I didn't know to run a silicone tool around the edge of the mold and forgot to use my little torch. But the second time, I corrected those mistakes and I've had wonderful results since then. I've found that most of the tiny bubbles that appear after mixing will disappear by the time I'm pouring it into the mold. It's dry to the touch, though still bendy within 8 or 9 hours and can be removed to insert into another project as I did with the red and blue coaster. It's hard enough to unmold after 24 hours, although they say it takes two days to fully cure. I did the butterfly coaster with a clear layer containing the butterfly and added the dark blue the next day. The resin is of medium viscosity after mixing, which works well with the dispersion of glitter. I have also had success with a dragon skin effect and have tried a couple of blooming techniques. I've also used alcohol ink (the beautiful red octagon was done by dropping alcohol in in stages and mixing to my satisfaction to provide a beautiful pattern and color). Some of my projects have been ambitious for a beginner and I'm still making some mistakes, but Dr. Resin has been very forgiving and cooperative with crystal clear and beautiful results. As for odor, I actually can't smell it at all. I will definitely buy it again!
