  • AMAZING- I have finally found the 'Dream Cleaner'!
Size: 23 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I've been using this CleanSmart Hypochlorous Acid Spray throughout my house and have been really impressed!! One of my favorite uses is on my toddler's high chair after meals. I do a quick wipe-down first, then spray this on for an extra level of cleanliness and peace of mind. It's also become part of my routine for pet-related cleaning. I use it on our dog's bed, the couch, bedding, and around our diaper-changing area. I appreciate that it's easy to use and helps freshen areas that can develop lingering stink. I also really like that it sprays excellently, and I don't find my finger hurting after having to spray all over one area, and it sprays a surprising amount with each spray (it will drench quickly!). I use it literally everywhere... CON: The only minor downside is that it has a slight chlorine-like smell when first sprayed. However, I actually take that as a sign it's actively cleaning and neutralizing odors. The scent dissipates quickly and doesn't leave behind any lingering fragrance. So not really a 'con' but something to note if you are sensitive. Overall, this is a versatile, convenient cleaner that I've found useful in multiple areas of my home, especially with both a toddler and pets. The two-pack is great value and ensures I always have a bottle where I need it! Works amazingly with anything from kiddo's toys, pet toys, bedding, pillows, etc., and you will not be disappointed. PROS: - Great for toddler eating areas and changing areas - Useful on pet beds, furniture, and bedding - Helps neutralize odors - Easy spray application - Convenient two-pack Highly recommend this product. It has great reviews already; I just wanted to add my personal experience! ... show more

  • The Safe Cleaner That Actually Works (And Costs the Same as Toxic Ones)
Size: 23 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I spent months buying whatever was on the shelf at the grocery store: generic antibacterial sprays, household cleaners that promised to kill 99.9% of bacteria. They worked fine for cleaning, but I was always uneasy using them around my toddler. The chemical smell alone made me nervous about what I was actually spraying near his high chair, his toys, his hands. Then I discovered CleanSmart and honestly, it feels like the safe alternative nobody tells you about. What makes this different is hypochlorous acid. It kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria just like the harsh stuff does, but it’s actually safe for pets and toddlers. No toxic residue. No chemical smell. I can spray it anywhere in my house without the constant worry. Here’s what I use it for in a typical week: my toddler’s high chair and any food contact surfaces, kitchen countertops, and the inevitable moments when my older dog gets sick on the rug. With that last one, I can let it sit and soak instead of scrubbing frantically. The product handles it without damage to the fabric or my peace of mind. The value shocked me too. A two-pack costs about the same as the toxic alternatives I was buying before. So I’m not paying a “safety premium.” I’m getting the same price point with exponentially more peace of mind. One bottle lasts roughly two weeks in our house, so the two-pack gets us through about a month. I’m on my third purchase and honestly considering upgrading to buying it in gallons. This is one of those products that once you find it, you realize you’ve been missing something crucial. Who absolutely needs this: Parents of toddlers, pet owners, or anyone who’s felt that guilt spraying harsh chemicals around the people and animals they love. If you’ve been buying drugstore cleaners but wishing there was a safer option, stop looking. ... show more

  • Love it
Size: 23 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
A friend recommended this to me, I have since started getting it in the gallon jugs, it’s great to use on your furniture. If you have pets, I spray it on my curtains after cooking, anywhere that has a unpleasant smell such as dog crates and dog beds, it gets rid of the smell instantly. It is safe to use around pets, and your children, it’s also good for disinfecting the bathroom, countertops, etc. it does have a slight bleach smell when you first use it, but it dissipates pretty quickly. I love this stuff. ... show more

  • Good for travel
Size: 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 3)
No residue, quantity and cost is good. Not sure of effectiveness, but can you be sure of any of them being effective truly? No scent that I noticed.

  • Will be repurchasing every time
Size: 23 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I seriously love this stuff. I heard about it from TikTok and I have been on a journey to use less toxic cleaners and needed something that would clean well but also help with odors (I have two dogs). This stuff cleans AMAZINGLY! I can use it on all surfaces in my kitchen, bathrooms, door handles, etc and spray it on dog beds. Don’t have to worry about chemicals. It has a very slight bleach smell which I like since I’m using it on surfaces so it smells clean. It leaves everything really shiny. I will totally keep buying and I recommend this to anyone who is trying to move away from the chemical cleaners. ... show more

  • Purchase chlorine test strips and make sure your bottle is still effective
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 3)
Tl;dr Buy a couple of brands of cheap chlorine test strips. Keep track of the remaining chlorine in open bottles by dipping and/or spraying the strip. If you don't want to, spray as normal for the first 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, spray 3-4 times your usual amount to make sure you achieve the desired effectiveness. My household loves this product. We've used it since right before lockdown. It was convenient, available, worked well enough, and it doesn't aggravate allergies. But then I started to wonder if we were using it correctly due to inconsistent results? Sometimes the room smelled like a swimming pool. Sometimes it didn't. Sometimes it smelled like we were just spraying salt water on stuff. Sometimes it smelled like we just opened a bottle of bleach. I knew HOCl solution was unstable, but I didn't think it was supposed to be *that* unstable when manufactured and purchased commercially. To make sure CleanSmart actually did what it says on the bottle, I finally bought an HOCl generator and a couple of brands of chlorine and pH test strips to compare. The chlorine strips show the amount of active ingredient in ppm, or parts per million. CleanSmart should come in between 160ppm-200ppm. I'm a "random useless facts" nerd, not a scientist. Your mileage may vary, etc. etc. It's possible that inconsistencies happen from batch to batch or from bottle to bottle, so I will purchase this product for testing at random intervals blah blah blah okay here we go! STORAGE CONDITIONS: The homemade solution was stored in new 1-gallon HDPE opaque white bottles cleaned with HOCl, then placed on the floor away from direct light in a climate-controlled room. The CleanSmart was stored as I received it, and I placed on my desk away from direct light in a climate-controlled room. TEST: New chlorine test strips from two manufacturers were dipped into the 2-week-old CleanSmart (~5/6ths full), 2-week-old homemade HOCl, newly-opened CleanSmart (from the same 3pc order as the old one), and freshly generated HOCL respectively. Homemade, fresh: Between 160-200ppm chlorine Homemade, old: Between 160-200ppm chlorine CleanSmart, fresh: Between 160-200ppm chlorine CleanSmart, old: Between 160-200ppm chlorine And now for the interesting part. New chlorine test strips were SPRAYED ONCE from 3 inches away. Homemade, fresh: Between 160-200ppm chlorine Homemade, old: Between 140-180ppm chlorine CleanSmart, fresh: Between 160-200ppm chlorine CleanSmart, old: Between 50-100ppm chlorine I re-tested that last result 3 times because I thought it was an error. The results were consistent each time. I sprayed the old CleanSmart at the same 3-inch distance, but drenched the test strips to the point of dripping (2-3 sprays). Only then did the results match the fresh CleanSmart. You can extrapolate its effectiveness for your needs based on how far away YOU spray stuff :) So yeah, CleanSmart after 2 weeks is still better than homemade...if you're cool with developing carpal tunnel syndrome from spraying so much that you drench your countertops, toys, stuffed animals, etc. in the stuff until they drip? To their credit, CleanSmart's instructions *do* try to subtly tell us this with "spray until thoroughly wet" - but imo they should just say... Conclusion: Spray as normal for the first 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, spray 3-4 times your usual amount to achieve the desired results. --- Oh, and for goodness' sake PUT THE SOLUTION IN OPAQUE BOTTLES, CleanSmart! You know it will last even longer if you do. You changed the hand sanitizer spray bottles to opaque white recently (likely to account for travel temp changes, which makes HOCl even more unstable). Change these as well. ... show more
