I'm so glad I ordered this bed. I really didn't think it was going to look like the pics online or match the description, but I was thankfully, totally wrong. It's exactly what you see and read on the sales page. First it comes vacuum-sealed in a relatively heavy box. According to the directions you need to open the box and take it out of the vacuum-sealed plastic within 72 hours and then let air out for up to 72 hours. So that's exactly what I did. After it was done expanding I measured it. It measures 10 inches, exactly what the description says. It looks super thick. As soon as it's out of the vacuum-sealed plastic, it's obviously a very thick mattress, so that bodes well. It is dark grey on the bottom and white -which seems to be the foam- on top. It's very comfortable. I ordered the twin mattress and it fits the box-spring perfectly, but it seems larger then a twin because it's so thick. It's manufactured incredibly well. This doesn't seem like it came from a box. This is not some w-mart box-bed, this is a real, true, half memory foam, half coil mattress. You can see the coils when you take it out of it's wrapping. It does expand enough that they are not obvious and you eventually can't see them. The foam is soft and comfortable and the coils help add firmness. It is a medium-firm mattress and I'd say that description is spot-on. Together they provide a good amount of support, but it doesn’t feel like you're sleeping on a board. I don't know how durable this will be over the years, it's seems manufactured fantastically, so just going by that initial judgment I think it'll be durable, but it does come with a 10 year warranty, and the company seems legit, so I'd guess if anything happens to it, it'll be covered. It's amazing that in 2025 you can order a mattress that is so nice and made so well -online- for under $140. I'd have to say it's worth every penny. I sleep like a sloth on this thing and it is a definite winner.

The name hints at it (Comfbox) but doesn’t tell you just how comfortable this mattress is. It is a hybrid mattress with innerspring coils combined with multiple layers of various densities of memory foam to achieve the ultimate in comfort. The top layer of memory foam is a cooling layer and it really is cooler than other mattresses I have tried before. I am supposed to use a firm mattress to give me proper support for my back issues, but if they are too firm they do more harm than good. This hybrid mattress is classed as Medium Firm, and it is perfect for me. It is firm enough to give me the support I need, but just soft enough to provide gentle pressure relief so I can get a good night’s sleep without waking up stiff and sore the next morning. This is a bed in a box so it was delivered right to my front porch and was easy for my husband and I to get it to the guest room where it will be used. The instructions are in the box, but basically you carefully cut the plastic from the mattress and allow it to expand to its full capacity before using it. There was not any strange odor when we opened the box. It always amazes me how a box like that can hold an entire mattress. The mattress covering is nice and soft, but I always cover my mattresses with a new mattress pad to protect them. It is so nice to get a good night’s sleep again.

Comfbox makes a good quality twin mattress. It does, like most of these mattresses now, come in a vacuumed seal bag that is in a box. The box is about 3' x 10" x 10". I still find it amazing how they can compress and vacuum out so much to get these things in the bag and box. They also include an opener inside the box to help open the vacuumed bag. Upon doing so they recommend letting it air out and up for 24 to 48 hours which I did. They was no weird or unpleasant odor or smell either. There was just a smell of new fabric, like that of a traditional mattress. It will spring up pretty fast but you should give the coils time to really decompress for best results. The fabric of this mattress is soft on the skin and has tiny air vents allowing your body to help stay cooler. The main seam around it was sewn well and straight without any loose threads. The memory foam and all the comfort layers were nice and supportive with that medium feeling to them. They were a little thinner than expected and you can feel the coils through the layers. Nothing uncomfortable but something to take note of. The size of the mattress was your typical twin, it was not an odd size or different than any other twin and bedding fit it just fine. I would say at this price point and quality that this would make a good spare mattress, maybe for little kids, or RV campers, or anywhere that if an adult is going to be sleeping on it that it would not get repeated nightly use for weeks at a time. It is at a great price point for a twin mattress that I personally don't think it could hold up to nightly use by anyone over 175 pounds, but for the occasional use it's a very good mattress.

I was honestly surprised by how good this mattress turned out. I’ve had it for about a month now, and it’s been solid—definitely better than I expected for the price. The setup was easy; it came rolled up, expanded fast, and had no strong smell like some other mattresses do. It’s got that perfect “medium firm” feel—soft enough to sink into a bit, but firm enough that my back doesn’t wake up sore. The cooling layer actually does its job too; I don’t wake up sweaty anymore, which is a big win. The combo of memory foam and coils gives it a nice balance—plush comfort on top, but solid support underneath. I sleep mostly on my side and sometimes on my back, and it’s been comfortable either way. Overall, for the price point, this mattress is a steal. If you want something that feels like a high-end bed without dropping a fortune, I’d definitely recommend this one.
