I ordered the 10-in mattress and everything was as promised. The mattress was easy to unroll out of the box and very easy to cut the plastic away and remove it. As far as I could tell there was no odor whatsoever. The mattress began to expand as soon as the plastic was removed. It says to wait 72 hours but that's quite a long time. However, I did wait 24 hours and everything seemed perfect. This is my first memory foam mattress and I'm very surprised at how comfortable it is. I really had a hard time falling asleep after waking up in the middle of the night previously but this mattress makes it so easy to fall asleep again. As far as it being cool, I tried it out without sheets on it the first night I wanted to really feel it against my skin. I wasn't uncomfortable and I live on a second floor apartment in Arizona. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm very happy with the price point. I'll probably never go back to a spring mattress again. ... show more

This is super comfortable. I mean to compare I have a $4k mattress from mattress firm and when that one makes my back hurt I go in my spare bedroom to this one and it’s like sleeping on a cloud. It’s not the cheapest option out there but I would buy this option 5 more times if I could return the over priced one I have😂 well worth the money. I’m 33 and have back and neck issues from the military hope this helps make your decision ! ... show more

We bought 2 of these, 1 firm twin xl and 1 medium firm twin. The firm one is just that....FIRM, like concrete. I needed firm, but that was too firm so I added a small memory foam topper and now it's fine. The medium firm one is extremely comfortable. I like that they're both lightweight. They expanded quickly after opening and didn't t smell like chemicals. The twin xl fits my Nectar adjustable bedframe perfectly, and all functions are usable with this mattress. Got this in twin xl size for my son. He says he sleeps very well on it. It is comfortable and returns to its shape when not sleeping on it. Came shrink wrapped with the air sucked out but only took a few hours to rise. The smell did not last more than a day.

It is fine for a while, but it does not last more than a few years before it gets a huge dip in the foam where you sit or lay the most. I have rotated it regularly, but it cannot be flipped over. Both edges are dipping, and it feels like you are falling off a cliff just to lay in bed, you have to prop a pillow under the low side. i also DO NOT like that you cannot sit on the edge of the bed, you slide off, no edge support. This mattress is a super value! It's slightly firm, but honestly, after a couple weeks on the bed I've come to like that about it. It's not mushy, and overly soft like you would imagine memory foam being. It's definitely supportive. It's an oddly cool mattress. Cool gel must work to some degree, because I have a large constrictor cage under my bed frame, with a heat source that's quite warm (85F-90F) about 2" under the slats, that covers about 1/4 of the beds underside. Yet, I actually feel cool in bed. You definitely need an open bottom bed frame, so the mattress can breathe properly, or cooling won't work, and moisture will build up. It's definitely worth the money, just be sure not to get a bed frame with arched slats, it will be brutally uncomfortable with this mattress, unless you like the firmness cranked up to 11/10. ... show more
