I recently bought a new sleep sofa. I wanted a more comfortable mattress. This one is great. I sweat a bit at night. This mattress was great !!! The comfort level is great as well. I have slept on the sofa bed. My guests are very happy as well.

This was a big improvement from the old mattress we had. We allowed 3 full days for it to inflate. It was about 1/2 inch short of the expected high. It was still vary comfortable so that didn't bother me. It fits the foldout couch as expected.

If you're like me, you've been considering this for awhile but not sure if it's worth it. But let me tell you, if your sofa bed came with one of those weird thin springy "mattresses" just go ahead and get this! It' is a 100% upgrade! The mattress arrived rolled up and vacuum sealed so very thin. It probably took 2 days at least for it to totally "inflate" for us. We have been using it with the original spring mattress under the foam. This allllmost removes the bar issue but honestly it doesn't really bother me because it is so slight. have not tried it without the other mattress underneath. We plan to fold up the original mattress and store it behind the sofa so we can pull it out and continue to use it under this mattress as extra support. The mattress itself does give off a slight odor but not enought o bother me. It appears to be high quality. It's very smooshy and comfortable. I hated sleeping on that spring mattress (kids frequently request to have sleepovers where we pull out sofa and watch movies) - but now with this I think it won't be so bad! ... show more

I inherited a nice leather couch that had a terrible 6" sofa bed mattress inside. It had janky springs sticking into my back all over and I could feel the bars. I looked online to see if I could replace it and found this mattress, which was priced very reasonably. It came quickly, and was very compactly packaged, with all the air sucked out of it. Once it is unwrapped it slowly expands to be about 5" thick. It comes inside a nice (microfiber?) mattress protector bag that seems quite durable. There was a minor chemical smell for a few hours after opening, but leaving the sofa open in a ventilated room overnight and washing the mattress protector fixed that easily. I am amazed at how comfortable such a thin mattress can be. It doesn't get hot, though I've never had problems with that on other memory foam products either. There are no springs to jab me in the kidney, and I can't feel the metal bars of the sofa at all. It folds up perfectly and unfolds without leaving any creases in the mattress. Because it is so thin, I have been using full size sheets instead of queen size sheets. Now I have a guest bed that is just as comfortable as my real bed, if not better. ... show more

    • This is a sturdy and very comfortable mattress.
I bought this mattress to either enhance or replace the one on a new sofabed which was uncomfortable. After much research I settled on this one, mostly because of the “Amazon Choice “ label. This mattress is very comfortable, I was concerned about the smell mentioned in some reviews, but there’s no smell. The first night I placed it atop the original mattress and slept like a baby. However, with both, the bed would not fold into the sofa. The second night, I slept with this sofa only and apart from a slight feel of the metal bar which went away when I changed position, I slept like a baby. The mattress came tightly packed but rolls out to full shape. It is cool to the touch and the fabric is pretty. It also collapses and folds easily. All in all, this is a sturdy and very comfortable mattress for a sofa bed and it comes at an excellent price. ... show more
