This bed frame is perfect for my space. I previously had the same model of this frame with a headboard in a "full" size, but moved and decided to upgrade my bed size. I loved my previous bed frame because the materials are high quality and very sturdy. I was able to put everything together by myself, but would have been easier with a second set of hands. All pieces of the frame fits together well and can be screwed together very tightly. Wood slots Velcro into the frame and stay put without making noise. The box it shipped in was extremely heavy and arrived pretty beat up, but everything was okay on the inside (all pieces were individually wrapped in plastic). Might require two people to move to the desired room or up stairs, so keep that in mind. Frame itself isn't too heavy once assembled – wood slats are the heavy part, so make sure to get the frame in the right spot before putting those on. The mattress I have sits almost flush with all sized of the frame with maybe an inch of space leftover. There were some slight squeaks in the frame the first couple of weeks as the screws settled, but I just tightened them again after a few weeks and the sound is gone. After almost a year and still holding up with zero problems. Love it! Pros: –Modern and small footprint –High quality wood and metal –Extremely sturdy for how minimal it is –Color of wood is beautiful –Easy to assemble and take apart when moving Cons: –Wood legs are soft and can scratch somewhat easily –Squeaks a little at first... not enough to be annoying and eventually stops –Box it shipped in was VERY heavy ... show more

The bed frame arrived scratched and dented during shipping due to lack of proper packing material. Luckily I was able to hide the damaged side rail facing in and the damaged legs against the wall. I used a rubber mallet which really helped get the parts together. All went well until attempting to attach the center support. The provided screws are too short. When after much struggle I managed to get them seated, any little jostle of the frame and the screws would pop right out. A nice gentleman at the hardware store helped me pick out metric screws, size m8-1.25x 20mm. Once I had long enough screws it all went together in an instant. The finished product, with 4 new screws for the center support, feels pretty sturdy. The manufacturer cut too many corners to bring us this inexpensive frame. ... show more

I bought this frame in June, after I bought another frame (from a different brand) that didn't come with tools/hardware to put it together! So I was leery about buying another frame from Amazon and potentially having the hassle of returning it, but I really needed a bed frame, so I got this one based on the reviews. So far I've been sleeping on it for about three months and it's great! I even put two sets of risers under the legs, because I needed some under-bed storage, and so far everything is holding up well. There are some creeks and some movement when I move around, but it hasn't collapsed on me yet. Fingers crossed. It's just me, and I weigh about 220 pounds, and I have bad insomnia and every time I wake up I have to adjust my body to try to get comfortable, so I definitely do move around. It was very easy to put together, even by myself. (I love putting together furniture, so it was actually fun for me.) I did have to carry the individual pieces from my car and through the house and up two flights of stairs because it wasn't possible for me to have carried the box it came in: way too heavy and awkward for me. It will be easy to disassemble and move, which is one reason I wanted to get this kind of frame. I have on it a cheap queen mattress I got ten years ago from Wal-Mart, and I have actually never been more comfortable. I like this frame much more than the solid platform bed I'd used for ten years.     • Rounded corners are a must with toddlers...

First, I have to point out that the rounded corners are what actually sold me on this frame compared to all the rest. I have a 2 year old. Sharp corners at nearly face level just aren't happening. It's also one less thing to accidently bang your knee on going by it. Lol The warranty was a close second on the selling points. I knew if there was an issue, however frustrating, we could get it figured out. That being said, if you hate floppy headboards and creaky frames as much as I do, you'll like this frame. It will also work well with one of those wall mounted headboards if that's what you're hoping to do. This frame has been a welcome change from the bed on the floor. My husband is 300+ and we are a couple months in with no problems so far. We got the storage I wanted, the height he needed, and the bamboo slats aren't as rigid as metal slats when you need something with a teeny bit of give for the sake of your back. Combined with the metal rails, it's as sturdy as we hoped. Assembly was a little tricky cuz one of the rails was slightly bent, and one bolt had messed up threads -nothing major. Thankfully we had the tools on hand to straighten the rail so we could slide the post through, and a drop of vegetable oil got the bolt in without stripping. The only down side is if you use a safety rail on the bed for toddlers it has to be checked often. If you don't, the support feet for the safety rail can pop between the bed slats. This is actually where having velcro to fasten the slats is a plus for me. We positioned the slats we wanted the rail to sit on just so, so they're completely supported. ... show more
