I have not had a blender since my teenage son used my old one for protein shakes--then did not wash it and did not tell me. I am glad to have this nice blender which is reasonably priced for the quality. This has a nice heavy glass container with a top that fits quite snugly--this does not come off easily, I would prefer it less so since I am older and have problems with my hands, but for most people this would be a plus. It will not fly off and spatter your kitchen with what ever you are blending. I got this for a Vine product review because there is only so much I can do with a food processor....and liquids is not one of those things. PROS * good quality blender * good speed settings * handles ice well * good price CONS * none as of yet....the biggest thing is how long it will last as things made today do not last as long as things made 50 years ago For now I RECOMMEND as this is a great blender for a great price. ... show more
