Depending what substrate you have been using and the temperament of your beardie, it might take a little bit for them to get used to. Especially if you use it alone. The width of this mat was absolutely a perfect fit for our bearded dragons breeder tank! All we had to do was cut the length to size and good to go! Comes with sticky pieces to keep the mat in place, and a cleaning brush. I love how clean and “manly” this looks for my bearded. I'm getting my first reptile and I decided to go with this for easier cleanup with a new reptile and also to keep an eye on their bm to make sure there are no health issues. This was a lot thicker and heavier than I thought it would be I thought it would be more like shelf liner, but I am happy that it's way better quality!! I know this will last with some good care!!
