  • What a great value. Good looking and good riding!
Color: Blue Style: 2 Bikes
We bought 2 bikes. One for me and one for my wife. The bikes were delivered quickly and in great shape. Assembly was relatively easy. All the tools you need come with the bike. We have taken the bikes out for a couple of 8 mile rides and we were impressed with the smooth ride and acceleration. The motor took us up a steep hill which is typically tough on our 65 year old knees. The seats have been comfortable. An eight mile ride didn't drain the battery a bit. They look good too. They feel sturdy. Great purchase. ... show more

  • Well made, fun e-bike for local trips! Great value.
Color: Black Style: Standard
I've had many bicycles, this is my first ebike. I'm 6'1", 160lbs and the bike fits me fine. After struggling up the hills around Portland and Vancouver, I decided to finally try an electric. I've had it for just over two months and I have 100+ miles. So far, it's amazing. It looks great, rides great, and is lots of fun. Durability seems good. Assembly was easy, no issues at all with build quality and the value is through the roof. All of this shipped to my door for under $500. It has 5 pedal assist modes and a throttle. There are 7 gear speeds. FYI the electric pedal assist power immediately disengages when either brake, the shifter, or the throttle are touched. This is a great safety feature to be aware of. I find that keeping my gear speed 2 speeds above the pedal assist speed works well. So PAS 1 = gear 3, full speed PAS 5 = high gear 7, etc. I most commonly just keep it in high gear with pedal assist on 4 or 5. This gets me around town, around 20 miles range. This gets into possible negatives: battery life and power. I won't remove any stars, because I was not expecting a huge, powerful battery. Just be aware, that if you want to cruise around all day without pedaling and blast up very steep hills, this bike is not for you. On steep hills, you will definitely be pedaling! This bike is more equivalent to a hybrid car, rather than a full electric car. I still want the exercise of a bike ride, and I get it.. I just don't get destroyed on hills or long rides. I can add my daughter in a bike trailer and be able to pedal around without my legs falling off. The only other thing I would want would be the gearing slightly higher, so I could still get pedal resistance when coming down faster hills. For me though, those are all non-issues, I'm just letting others know. Customer service has been responsive, they sent me a video of how to remove the rear tire to change the tube.. it wasn't much worse than a normal bicycle with derailleur. Highly recommend this bicycle! ... show more

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARE | BUYER BEWARE!
Color: Black Style: Standard
Terrible customer service! Questionable electrical build quality. I have an ongoing issue where the bikes electrical wiring became severed from the mounted headlight and the internal components. No misuse, no wrecks, nothing, bike even still looks brand new. The wire connecting the power to the headlight is very very small that comes from the internal area of the bike and you could see that it was never properly wired together using any sort of standard electrical procedures. I sent pictures and reacted out to the company at the beginning of this month, and now 20 days later I've only received one response and no help whatsoever! This company is blatantly ignoring me and if this component is experiencing such issues, I can only imagine what the battery wiring may devolve into. Luckily I bought the extra warranty, which I should not have to use until the stated 1 year manufacturer warranty runs out. However, this company does NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY, AND WON'T PROVIDE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU HAVE ISSUES. This bike is less than 6 months old! Look elsewhere, until they show that they can also provide support for their questionably built bike! ... show more

  • Great affordable starter ebike for savvy rider!
Color: Orange Style: Standard
I really like this ebike because it was so affordable and nice looking! I love the color! I would have given it five stars, but there were a few things about it that I think could’ve made it better. Because my husband and I are savvy cyclists, we didn’t mind taking a chance on ordering this bike online without having a chance to test ride it. PACKAGING & ASSEMBLY: The bike was shipped perfectly in the box. It had a couple of scratches on the top tube, which I didn’t mind, especially given such a great price (pic attached). It was very easy to assemble, except the stem instructions could have been better. After assembling it, I took it for a very short test ride up and down my street and noticed the rear tire had a flat. I changed the tire tube and decided that it must’ve gotten pinched when assembling at the factory. On my next ride, I was able to ride about 17 miles and at the very end of the ride, my tire was flat again. I was lucky that I made it back before it lost air completely! When I got back, I took the rear wheel off, took off the tire and inspected the tube. I compared it to the first tube that I got the first flat with and noticed that the holes in both tubes were in the exact same spot. It turns out there was a slight burr in the rim (pic attached) that needed to be filed down. I also replaced the rim tape. The rim tape that ships with the bike is a little bit narrower than what I would consider standard (pic attached - The black tape is what shipped with the bike and the red tape is what I purchased and considered standard Width). After putting the third new tube on the rear wheel and getting it all reassembled, the problem went away, so it was definitely the burr in the rim. I should add that taking the rear wheel off and putting it back on again is extremely difficult. It’s as if the frame is too narrow for all of the rear nuts, bolts and locks that have to go in between. My husband has to stretch out the frame for me so that I can get the rear wheel into the two slots that the axle goes into. There is a lock on both sides of the axle, which is very important for safety to keep on. It makes it extremely difficult to get the wheel back on. RIDE FEEL: I own a very expensive road bike with ultegra electronic shift and a really nice mountain bike with Shimano Altus trigger shift, and I must say that the Shimano seven speed shifter that comes with this bike is very smooth! I wasn’t expecting that. The bike is also very easy to handle and steer. The tires are great for both crushed gravel trails and for the road. The pedal assist modes are sufficient: PA one goes up to 6 miles an hour. PA two goes up to 9 miles an hour. PA three goes up to 12 miles an hour PA goes up to 16 miles an hour and PA 5 goes up to 20 miles an hour. I haven’t figured out how to change that yet, and it doesn’t say in the manual exactly how to adjust it or even if it can be changed. So with five PA modes and seven gears, it seems to be more than enough to do the kind of riding that I do. Going downhill and just coasting without pedal assist on, I’ve gotten this bike going 35 miles an hour! However, I don’t recommend those speeds on this bike because the brakes are squeaky and a bit weak, and my front end has a very annoying rattle and it’s not the stem or the fork. I haven’t figured out what it is, but it seems like there’s something inside the top tube. I don’t think it’s a safety issue But I don’t wanna push it! at some point in the future, I will look into replacing the brake pads and calipers to get something a little bit nicer. The seat is pretty comfortable, but I found that installing a suspension seat post really was a nice add! At 20 miles an hour peddling is definitely topped out and it’s uncomfortable trying to pedal at that speed. I think the bike would be better with eight speeds just to help smooth out peddling when going 20 miles an hour. But most of the time my rides average about 12 miles an hour because I ride for recreation and not for commuting. This is not a commuting bike. It does have plenty of torque to do rolling hills and short, steep inclines without any issue. But I would not feel comfortable taking it on a busy road. BATTERY LIFE & POWER: The battery life is very good and I have found that I can easily go 50 miles plus on a full battery as long as I pedal the minimum speed of the PA mode. With my style of riding, I think I could easily go 65 to 70 miles on a full battery. With just the throttle, it might go up to 35 miles on a flat road. I really enjoy riding this bike, especially after about a 25 mile+ ride when my legs are getting tired. I can just rely more on the torque of the cadence Sensor to get me home. It does take some coordination to be mindful of the gears you’re in as well as the pedal assist mode that you’re in. The pedal assist kicks in after about one and a half to two revolutions of the crank. The torque is quite strong so it will push you forward if you leave it in a PA mode that’s too high, So I’m sure to turn off my PA mode at road crossings and downshift my gears so that I can be prepared to come to a complete stop without getting unexpectedly propelled forward. This is something that could happen with any ebike and is not any slight on this bike at all, so just something to note for any ebike shopper. SUMMARY: Overall, I definitely recommend this bike for someone who is savvy with bike maintenance and is looking for a nice looking affordable e-bike! ... show more
