This product has been my saving grace after 6 years of a yappy dog. Every morning my dog loves to whineeeee until I let her out. I’ve tried positive reinforcement and medication and nothing ever worked to calm her down. This worked after one night! Amazing! Worked for my husky! Only negative is that the buckle became defective and got stuck on my dog. Product instructions say not to leave on for more than 8 hours at a time. I had to cut the collar off my dog to ensure her safety. Bummer. Product would not be replaced by Amazon but I am receiving a refund for the defect.

This collar works great on our dog. He hates the citronella smell and if you just put it on him he obeys. No need for a shock collar.

The collar is great when it works. After two months of use it stopped spraying citronella and only puffs a small amount of air even after making sure the tank is full. It does nothing to stop my dog from barking now. Not worth the money.

The product works geat as long as it the product works; however, the side release buckle jammed. This makes it unable to get on and off to charge and refill. We only had the product for 5 weeks and didn't even use it every day. The product was very effective in changing our dogs behavior. Though at this price point, we would expect for a longer shelf life than 5 weeks. We would be have been willing to give 5 stars if other than for this. ****Update***** The company immediately reached out to us in response to our review to see how they could help fix the situation. Once, it was apparent that we couldn't fix the clasp; they immediately sent out a new unit. We couldn't be happier with this company and their customer service and product.

Look if you think that shock collars are inhumane or whatever that’s fine you’re entitled to your opinion . They are however an industry standard training tool that works well. And if you’re a great trainer you won’t even need the shock function ever anyway . This product is aimed squarely at people who think shock is inhumane . Sure we use it for livestock and even ourselves . Intact like most people I use something on my self before I use it on my pet . This is where my issue lies. I used this on my self and found it to be way more inhumane than a mild zap in my opinion . I feel like the sudden burst of spray in the face can be used to train a dog sure but it’s the beep and the vibrate that most trainers really use . I hated getting sprayed in the face with something I have to refill too… ugh it’s inhumane and disposable single use bad for the environment. Again these are my opinions about the whole issue . It does as it’s advertised it works. I’m not sure if getting maced in the face is any less human than a controllable zap but if i hated it I definitely am not using it on my dog . This doesn’t even factor in the fact that you’re maxing an area . What about the innocent bystanders?

The media could not be loaded. This is the second one I’ve bought. The first one leaked within days and I was able to return it. This second one leaked at about 2.5 months of use (about 1-2hrs/day when we let them out intermittently at night and the raccoons are out). She’s an old dog that doesn’t knock it around or anything. I’ll do what I can to get a refund or exchange it, but if I can’t, I’ll try another brand. Disappointed, as it was effective when it held citronella.
