Melted somewhat quick, so don’t light them too early! Also, I put them in vases of water and submerged baby’s breath flowers. If you plan to do this, know that it is difficult to get the candles to sit/melt properly when the flowers float/touch the top a bit. When the flowers touch the candles, they tip slightly and the wax pours out and gardens on the top of the water. It wasn’t terrible, but just something to consider for all these kinds of candles! ... show more

These are pretty good candles. They work great for floating candle-price is a little high for candles, but other than that-they are good!

They were beautiful to look at and floated nicely. The candles just didn't last that long. The potluck was only about an hour and they were burned out in the water before then. Maybe it was the batch.

    • Lovely, inexpensive gift
These candles are nicely packaged. They look a lot more expensive than they actually are and look exactly like the picture. The only downside was the scent is not very strong. But. As a gift, it is probably better to give a light scent rather than a strong one that someone may not like.
