I'm a big fan of Citizen Eco-Drive watches. I've had one for about a decade that is still virtually flawless. You can hardly tell it had been worn. They're utterly reliable, and supremely durable. I appreciate that I'm not constantly needing to update the date every month. It's simply a set & forget proposition, once & done. Along with NEVER needing batteries, these watches are highly desirable in form, fit, and function. When this new watch was offered to me, I jumped at the opportunity because I LOVE Citizen timepieces. My new watch is the golden model, and though not my favored color scheme it looks really sharp. I like the simplicity of the dial face. It's the epitome of understated elegance. The buttons and face of this watch are larger than my previous model... and, as I age, that's something I prefer. History tells me, that big sapphire crystal lens will NOT scratch... and that's a HUGE PLUS. I've never babied my older Citizen, wearing it for manual labor, automotive repair, and other not-so delicate tasks without ever leaving a trace on that beautiful crystal face. It's honestly an impressive piece of kit. One I'm happy to wear, and know will serve me for decades. I'll need to have a couple links removed from the band before it goes into full-time service, but beyond that... this beauty is good to go. Great watch, superb quality of build, looks distinguished, and is sincerely one of the best values in timepiece performance ever created. 100% fully (and highly) recommended!
