I am adding new auxilliary wiring to my new RV and was accessing the rear of the fridge area through a small door to run electrical cable. The manufacturer saved a couple of dollars by not installing a catch to hole the door up and open. I propped the door up with a plastic pipe, a shovel handle and anything long that I could find. They all failed. Increasingly frustrated with the installation of wire but more so with that bloody door that couldn't remain up. Bingo! I forgot that I had a magnetic catch. Installation was fast and easy but I didn't caulk the rear of the pieces. It was operational in minutes and I was very happy to eliminate an aggravation. I love this thing. The magnetic action is strong enough for any RV door, silent, inexpensive and it works so very well. It is constructed like a tank. Am I happy to have it work every time I access the rear of the fridge? Will it last forever? Yes and yes. I liked this so much, I ordered another unit. 5-Stars for convenience ... show more

I have a lightweight cargo door that needs a holder to keep it open while I am dealing with cargo inside. This is a nice quality magnetic holder that will work nicely. Installation is easy, and hardware is included. It would have been nice to have the option of installing with adhesion (instead of screws), but only screws are included. It's a large set, but it will be sturdy. Yes, I would recommend this magnetic holder set, with a 5-Star rating for a quality product. ... show more

It comes with adhesive pads and a set of screws to mount them to surfaces. However, there are no instructions as how to get the screws mounted through the holes in the back of the connectors. One of the back plates looks like it can be removed by a Phillips screwdriver, but the other plate looks like it's riveted on. And there is no obvious way to remove the other plate in order to get the screws to the back of it. Therefore I am using the adhesive pads on a outdoors painted surface as a gate hold, so I hope the adhesive lasts a good long time. Screws would be better. ... show more
