    • Affordable Full-Sized Step
After searching the various options for a fitness step to use for my weight workouts, this model by Circuit Fitness fit my budget and needs. Pros: *same size as those at fitness centers *comes with 2 risers for both sides *has a ridged, non-slip surface *rubber washers on the bottom to prevent the step from moving Cons: *the plastic feels thinner/weaker than those at the gym (as I'm the only one using it, I don't anticipate any issues with this) *the step was bowed downward in the middle so the edges didn't grip well (this can be remedied by placing a yoga mat beneath it) *the risers don't seem to set in place as well as the gym model, but stayed put during my workout. Overall, it works for my workouts and doesn't break the bank. A few minor modifications and It's a good buy. ... show more

Hi, Update: it still works but it is leaning against the basement wall. After starting my step class I realized that even one step was a challenge for me— and bronwyn the YouTube teacher talked about just outlining the step on the floor. Which I have done. So that doesn’t sell steps but maybe I can save someone some money. It would be nice to think I can do one step and add more but maybe in another lifetime. Original review: It works, but getting me working is another story. Sturdy, didn't slip, crack, have not tried the layers because I can hardly manage at the main layer. but all is good. ... show more

    • Warped/ bowed step
On unpacking I was immediately aware the step was warped and bowed in the center, causing each side to flip up with light foot pressure on the opposite end. Not sure if this is caused by packing the steps on the risers but this is an absolute safety concern for stability and maneuvering. This is also CLEARLY a persistent problem that I'm only now discovering in the reviews. It also does the same flipping once on the risers. Step does not lock into the risers. This is not a secure feeling for anyone using this for fast-paced, high-impact use. ... show more

Previously owned the original Step platform and gave away in favor of going to the gym and running outside. Then pandemic arrived and needed something that could be delivered quickly, was cheap (cost half the price of the original Step) and effective. Not giving it away even when gyms reopen; will be my rainy-day exercise equipment. Stable. Okay length for me. ... show more

My wife purchased a different brand that was much shorter. She realized too late that it would not work for her step class. After using this one, she was very happy and have been using it since. It is stable and holds a good amount of weight without moving. I wish it came with the option of adding more risers for a harder workout. ... show more

Not as thick as I thought it would be. Easier for me to use it without the stacks on the bottom.

    • Absolutely as good, or better, than the ones at the gym.
This is a full-size aerobics step, just like at the gym. I don't use the risers, so I can't guarantee they don't slip, but the step does not slip, even on my low pile carpet.
