The lamp is very small. It’s a little fiddly to assemble but not too bad. The assembly was intuitive and not hard to figure out. I like the fact that it comes with a bulb and the brightness is dimmable.

There are lots of windows in my bedroom, but after dark it’s DARK - it’s a large room with dark corners. This was exactly what was needed. It’s ingeniously packaged in a surprisingly small box; the shade is rolled up and when you Velcro the edge together (like I said, ingenious), you pop in the two heavy wire circles and bam, you have a lampshade. The lamp is bigger in the picture than what it is when you get it it comes in a very small box folded up and you have to put it together is very small. It does put out some light but for the place that I want to put it is very small, so don’t be fooled that it’s a big shade.
