This is a awsome unit. And the customer service is fast and very helpful. From installation to operation they are there in a timely manor. I installed this myself in under 2 hrs. Everything works great so far. I've had it installed for about 2 months. I have 2 monitors running off of the hdmi output. It is a beautiful picture. I got a hdmi splitter from Amazon. The picture from the hdmi is much better then the RCA (yellow) video cord which had alot of lagging( unit i had before). I'm hoping this unit will last a long time(l did purchase the extended warranty). My only problem with this unit is that there is no way to power it off while the car is running. I think there should be a power on/off option on this. I plan on running a amplifier to this and it would be nice to be able to turn on/off my whole system with out having to turn the vehicle completely off. My factory rearview camera works as it should. It takes a second or two to kick on but looks like the orginal did. I'm using my hot spot from my phone for now. But they do offer a card that turns this head unit into a hot spot that I'm debating on trying out... I have Netflix, YouTubeTV installed on this(they work while in motion). I also have the apps that control my wheel leds lights and my dash camera installed on this( i don't have to fiddle with my phone to access these now).I was unable to install Hulu and Disney + on my unit. This is well worth the price. I went a cheaper route before this find, and was ripped off($650) on a tesla style screen. I haven't got my amplifier hooked up yet but the unit itself sounds great and that's in my 2015 F-150 with a Sony system. There is a setting to adjust the volume output for systems with/ or with out factory amplifiers. I will try and update this post as time goes by. But for now this unit is worth every penny. So far so good, Installation was a nightmare thanks to zero instructions and the one video on here is of a guy rambling for 28 minutes while occasionally mentioning the installation. I eventually found a video on youtube by "Me And Car Keys" I will take 2 star away due to the fact that it's 2019 tech being sold for 1000 dollars. It's a 7 year old tablet essentially The quality is VERY nice, I've tried others, one in the 600 dollar range and it was absolute junk. Everything worked right off the getgo, all the steering wheel buttons and all worked Edit: I am returning this unit, the delay in microphone and the included google not being able to do anything unless you give it exact information is not worth it to me. I tried multiple times with simple request like "Hey Google... (wait like 4 seconds) can you give me directions to the nearest Cabela's? and it would just respond with "I don't understand" which was infuriating, combined with the delay before I could ask a question it was just too much. The unit also did not automatically connect to android auto, it would go to the main screen ( even thought it is connected via Bluetooth and WIFI to the head unit) I would still need to tell it to show me android auto. Then if you ever hit the back key on the permanent AC unit controls it would take you out of android auto and send you back to the main screen. The only good thing about this unit for me so far is that it works, everything works as it should, I was just expecting more from a 950 dollars head unit, there are 250 dollar tablets out there that have 20x the capabilities of this and that does not sit OK with me. Bezels not being even as they're shown in the listing photos is another red flag ... show more

Bought three different radios from Amazon. First one wasn’t the one I paid for. Second one didn’t last two days. This one is fantastic. Exactly as advertised. Even in the extreme cold. -19 degrees it worked flawlessly. Worth every penny. Display looks like high definition to me. Love that the kids can watch Netflix while I’m driving. Even allows TikTok while in motion. It’s basically a tablet in the pickup. Plugs in to existing harness and no cutting wires. Very happy with the radio. Installed a SIM card and downloaded the Apple Music app. All the cameras work. Even tells you the door is open and which one. Very good radio for a 2018 f250. ... show more

    • Good unit, some complaints
I have a 2017 F250 XLT, it came with the Sync 4” screen. I’m happy with this replacement, I really only bought it for CarPlay, which it works great for. Only complaints are I can’t turn the AC fan completely off, just to its lowest setting so I’m constantly changing the temp and vent position. Another big complaint is that the backup camera didn’t work with the supplied harness. They don’t mention that you need a Sync to RCA adapter, or you will receive the “no signal” message when you put your truck into reverse. Luckily, I’m part of an F250 forum and someone knew what the fix was. I contacted the Cidava customer support to help with my issue, with no response of course. Overall, not a bad unit. I wish I would have done my research and gone with a more reputable unit, but this one was a little more affordable and was 3 day shipping. ... show more

I only gave it a one star because it is very nice. It looks nice, but two weeks after installing it the ac screen froze and it stopped working. My AC wouldnt turn on and the bottom buttons wouldnt work. Took it in back to the shop & they said it was stereo not working. I had to put back the old stereo. Not worth the buy. ... show more

Decent product, seems like a quality product.. It took me about 1.5hr to install, the instructions were in the unit itself so it wasn't very helpful like others have mentioned but the customer service kinda makes up for it.. we jumped on video to make sure all the connections and settings were correct (mine was F150 Hi, Other).. my issue was that my drivers side AC temp. control was opposite of what it should have, also while using the phone through the unit didn't allow the other person to hear me.. after contacting the seller we walked through all of the connections (which were all connected correctly) seems the system needed to be cycled through apparently.. now everything works as it should.. FYI, Some units require that you remove electronics from the factory unit, this is not that, this is literally plug and play, steering wheel controls, backup camera, seat heat and vent, all work as advertised.. comes with extra harnesses in case you have a 360 and or front camera.., the boot up is not terrible, the initial boot was the longest.. I hope this unit lasts but so far so good.. ... show more
