Excellent pump for inflating beach balls, pool floats, and child's pool. However, if you need a pump to inflate your Intex sofa-bed, this is not your best option. Instead, purchase the Intex Quick Fill Air Pump that produces 1100 L/minute. The hi-flo model is available with 120 Wall Plug only. Make sure you are ordering the high-flow model. Bought this for an inflatable boat, approx 9' x 5', and took around 25 minutes to inflate all sections, which is okay. They could have done a better job with the interchangeable hose tips. No doubt there are faster, sleeker, "wowwier" pumps, but they justifiably cost more than this simple but effective device. ... show more

I bought this to blow up my pool floats. I typically used a gas-powered air compressor to do the job, but I read somewhere that the high powered air was not good for that, something to do with breaking down the material, whatever. I went from the compressor to a hand pump, which I did not think was going to make a huge difference because I don't use any type of fancy extravagant floating devices. Boy was I wrong! I got so tired of using that hand pump, I just said FORGET IT! So of course, I turned to Amazon looking for something that I thought would best fit my needs, with a good price, of course.
