I got this skirt thinking it would look classy and sort of old fashion, in a good way. It isn’t the best quality, and sewn together at the waist sloppily. The fabric is a thin silk, and the lace is intricate and delicate looking. It fits well, but I don’t like the waistline. It does have some stretch to it, it is not see through, but is a cream color, so you d suggest no dark undergarments.

This skirt looks great and is very flattering on me. One of my favorite details is the lace hem. It adds a subtle feminine touch and makes the skirt feel a bit more special than a standard satin skirt. The mermaid-style shape also gives it a graceful silhouette and some nice movement when walking, which makes it feel both flattering and stylish. The hidden side zipper is a nice design choice because it keeps the look clean and streamlined. The high-waisted fit also works well with different tops. I've tried it with fitted shirts and blouses, and it pairs nicely with both. There are a few caveats to consider, though. First, it arrives wrinkled, and if you don’t iron or steam it, it won’t look as good as it does in the pictures. I washed it, air-dried it, and then steamed it, and it looks sharp now. Second, be careful with sizing. I’m usually a size medium, but I can sometimes fit a small as well. I ordered this skirt in a medium; however, it feels closer to a small because it hugs me quite tightly. The fabric does not have any stretch, so if you are in between sizes, I would recommend sizing up. Otherwise, the skirt looks very elegant and flattering, and I’m very happy with it.

This Cicy Bell Womens Silk Satin Midi Skirt is very nice with a modest sexy flare. I am 5’7, 155 and ordered a large based on the size chart and it fits well. The skirt is comfortable and easy to wear. The lace along the bottom is very pretty and delicate. The satin fabric is smooth and I could put it on right out of the package. This is a great find - you could dress it up or wear it casually with a graphic tee. Highly recommend!!

This skirt suits my taste for a dressy evening out, but I wish it fit me better because it is snug. I like the rich color of the fabric, and it has a lovely sheen that makes it look more expensive than I expected. The fabric has good coverage, with no show-through, at least in the coffee brown color I chose. There's a lining that ends about five inches above the lace trim, which I appreciate both for modesty and just making the skirt look smooth. The lace itself is pretty and enhanced with an embroidery detail attaching it to the skirt. My only trouble is the fit. The skirt's measurements match the size chart, but there is very little stretch in the fit. The back panel is elasticized, but it gives only about one inch. I've included a photo showing the thin elastic near the zipper. I do like the skirt but I don't like the very snug fit, so I should have sized up.

The sizing is NOT CORRECT. Please hear me when I say that! I’m a true sir 8-10, so that’s what I ordered. I’m never worn something that so tightly hugs my body. And not in a good way. In a “if I take a single step I’m popping every seam” kinda way. If you want this to fit loose like the photo, go up two sizes. The feel of the material is nice. I was thrown by the look of the printed leopard print on the satin. It’s not bad? But it’s off and I can’t tell why. I really don’t think anyone else would notice that though! Overall I WANTED to love this. But I need to order two sizes up to try.
