This outdoor fireplace is not too heavy, yet heavy-duty. Good materials-stainless steel. Very little smoke, and a design that allows airflow through the bottom, so, if you're like me, and have trouble keeping a campfire lit, this is a great experience. I love the grill top, so you can have a little cookout, along with your fire ambiance. Good little carrying sack, for all the parts, (although I do wish that was a little larger, so that it's easier to fit everything back in.) It all goes in, if everything is disassembled and stacked correctly. I am just lazy! I am very happy with this!

This is a review for Ciays 32 inch Fire Pit, 3-in-1 Multipurpose Outdoor Fire Pit Table with Spark Screen. This is a very nice little fire pit. The steel is just thick enough to be durable while being light enough that one person can fairly easily pick it up to move it. (The instructions show illustrations with two people being required, but really, even a moderately strong person of average size and health can move it easily. I did.) The instructions are simple and well-presented, and it goes together easily and quickly. It took me about 45 minutes to unpack and assemble it from start to finish, but I could have done it in half the time if I had used my cordless screwdriver instead of the small hand screwdriver provided in the package. (I was too lazy to go back in the house and get it, and it was so pleasant sitting in the patch of clover under a shade tree while putting it together. The buzz of a power tool was not wanted or needed.) At any rate, all the screws and tools are provided (with a couple of extra screws, just in case) so you can absolutely do this without having to dig out your own tools. The assembly almost didn't need instructions because it was all so well labeled and obvious, but one tip to make things easy should NOT be ignored. Leave the screws slightly loose until you're done and then tighten them up after it is all together. The measurements are quite exact, so it can be hard to get things in the right orientation if the screws are tightened at the start. Leaving them a bit loose gives you more flexibility. I live way out in the boonies and have been reliant upon wood stoves (and even open campfires in summer) for cooking and heating, so I know a thing or two about how fires work. First and foremost, a fire needs air to burn properly. I say this because designs that keep that in mind directly affect how well a fire pit will work. This fire pit has definitely considered airflow in its design. The bottom of the fire box has small holes drilled in all four corners and the center--which works as a drain for rain, etc. but also as an inlet for air. It also includes 4 small triangular "shelves" in the corners, about an inch above the bottom. That is where the grate for holding the logs sits. Between the air holes and that space between the bottom of the pit and the logs, enough draft can be produced to make the fire burn brightly without a bunch of smoke--a thoughtful design. This also comes with a grate lifter and a screen cover (for windy days--to keep sparks from traveling) and a rain cover to be used when the pit is not in use. My only minor complaint about this whole thing is that in the photos shown in the listing for this fire pit, there is a grill shown for cooking over the fire. That is not an included part of this package and I am not sure how to get one. (In fairness, it does clearly state in the listing that the 'BBQ grate' is not included.) It would have been a nice little extra to have included that grill or at least to offer it as an extra. Otherwise, I really like this and would definitely recommend it.

We already have a firepit but I wanted one to go under our canopy without putting out smoke. It's a nice piece that does what it says, but could have a few areas of improvement, this is just a personal experience. But it works great as a convenient travel firepit that does the basic. Nothing extravagant.

The CIAYS smokeless fire pit is a great way to bring a small, cozy fire to your backyard or your next camping trip. I love that the unit is made from stainless steel so that it won't immediately start to rust out. The sections are held together by engaging the latching handles. When unlatched, the whole pit comes apart and you can stack the sections inside each other to make it more compact for transport (the legs even fold in). The smokeless airflow action works really well. We like to burn our sensitive papers and junk mail and there is usually a smoky cloud formed as the paper smolders. The smokeless fire pit has an airflow design which keeps the fuel fed with air so that the fire keeps burning. It did very well with our weekend burn, and consumed the fuel completely making some nice ashes for our compost pile. We are very pleased with the performance of the CIAYS fire pit and hope it keeps working a long time.

I recently tried out the CIAYS Smokeless Firepit, and while it has some appealing features, it left me with mixed feelings. The 19-inch size and included steel grill rack, fire poker, and carrying bag make it a great concept for camping. However, the thin gauge metal feels flimsy and unstable. Two of the three feet were not secure and even came off the base, raising concerns about its durability and safety. Despite the easy setup and storage, the build quality issues overshadow its potential. I gave 2 stars because I like the design a lot.

I’ve been wanting a smokeless firepit and when I saw how extremely affordable this item was I just had to have it. Love the size. It’s perfect for our small patio. Looks expensive. So worth it. It will also workout really well to keep us warm on the patio for the cooler fall and winter nights.

I recently got a fire pit for my backyard, and it's been really nice! It's super easy to set up and has a sleek design that fits perfectly with my outdoor decor. The flames provide great warmth, making evening gatherings cozy and enjoyable. Plus, it's perfect for roasting marshmallows! The only slight downside is it takes a bit of effort to clean, since it's not a gas firepit, but overall, I'm thrilled with it. Very easy to setup/put together. Good clear instructions. Pretty sturdy without being to heavy. It looks great. I only knocked off a star because I wish the actual pit were about 6 inches deeper and the entire unit about 6 inches higher. A deeper pit would help keep ashes inside when there is a breeze and if the entire unit were 6 inches higher it would make it more level with the chairs and sofa around it.
