This tent sets up easily and packs down into a compact size. I haven't used it in the rain, but the fly seems legit and held in a good amount of heat. I used this tent on a sub-40 degree F night and was very comfortable. The 4-person size is perfect for 1 or 2 people with gear.

4 man tent fits 2 6ft adult cots with 1.5 feet if space in middle. There's no way you are fitting 4 in there unless a full bloup and 2 of them are small kids

Took this tent on an overnight float trip on a river. I set the tent up 20ft from the river and the fog was beyond thick. The dew was heavy everywhere and there was loads of dew on the tent that trickled down throughout the night. Luckily the dew on the top of the tent didn't come through, but once it hit the part of the tent that didn't have the rainfly on it, it soaked through and the walls were damp. It also soaked through enough that a few drops accumulated into some very small pools of water in the corners of the tent. I was expecting this. No tent is really waterproof. And I was just happy no water dripped down on me from above. The bottom of the tent is not the usual tarp material, it's tent material and the color was not teal, it was pretty much blue. The other 20 some people that also camped with me, some had tents over $200 and they were absolutely soaked. So, just bring a tarp for the bottom and a tarp for the top incase it rains and you'll be fine. The overall quality was good and I was happy with it. Just get some small, cheap tarps to go with this cute tent and you'll be set! ... show more

I bought this tent for my wife and myself to do some camping. We bought a double sleeping bag and a queen sized air mattress. They just barely fit in the tent with almost no extra space. It is smaller than I expected, but meets our needs. It is light and compact for backpacking in to a campsite. Our first night, there was a severe thunderstorm, and we were well protected by the tent. Not a drop of rain made it in. If I had to do it again, I might get a bigger tent, but we have gone out several times this summer, and it has met our needs well. ... show more

A little shorter than I had thought but super easy to assemble and ample room inside. Fits our queen air mattress plus a twin with space to walk & change. Set it up in the yard & added a layer of waterproof spray. Will update after camping…. Update: we stayed in the tent 2 night one with ample rain. We stayed completely dry, no leaks at all. Very minimum air flow though. Based off other reviews we decided to purchase 4 small fans & without them it would have been miserable the first night. 73 Fahrenheit. My first camping experiment, this was my first tent, my first camping experiment, which went better than we expected. The tent was very lightweight and easy to assemble. It is super easy to set up and straightforward! I got it all put together in about 5 minutes on my own. It is also pretty easy to break down and put away after you're done using it. You can leave it in the car with minimum space. This was perfect for us because my wife and I had bought a lot of stuff with us on this trip. So there would have been extra space for you and your family to put other stuff in the car. The bottom is made of tarp material to avoid water inside the tent. So you don’t have to worry if the grass is wet or when it rains. That had helped my family a lot because when we were out camping it suddenly started raining at night but this tent had helped us not get wet. So this tent is waterproof. We also met up with my other friends and they were surprised that our tent was much better than theirs. And how our setup, materials, and size were also a lot better than there's that they wanted to buy one too. I highly recommend it! It is super light, the setup isn’t complicated as the other tents, the materials are great for camping, and the size is just perfect for taking on a camping trip with your family. ... show more

I really quite like this tent, big enough for two people (4 man). It rained just as I set it up and I had no issues with leak. Fairly easy assemble, would be much easier with two people. I like that it uses g-hooks instead of having to thread the pole through fabric. I would certainly buy again.
