This is a very well built gate and I love that I didn’t need to make any holes in my walls to use it. It is sturdy, heavy, and the gate door goes both ways. I did not use the alarm part of it so I can’t speak on that, but it works perfectly for my animals!

I got this gate as a means to keep my Goldendoodle out of a particular area of our home. The first gate arrived with a defect and the seller replaced it promptly. The second gate is in great condition and went up with little to no installation. We appreciate that it has a door and feel the alarm is a good feature for those using this for children. Do not cut the zip locks until you read the instructions. I purchased 2 and one was newer than the other. Instructions were different. Very easy to install. I’m not extremely handy but I’ve put things together before. These were a 3 on a 1-10 scale of difficulty. Worth it.
