    • Not JUST charming!!
Color: Red
Honestly, I thought this would simply look nice on my shelf, but I-am-impressed. Whomever designed this put some thought into it. Even the box it comes in was given thought to. It is EASILY good enough for a handsome stocking stuffer, but at the price I found it, I thought it could be an amazing guest token for weddings (you would just want to charge the battery for them so they can use it on the big day.). It shoots video. It has a couple filters. The bottom even has a hole threaded to attach it to a small tripod or stand. And the memory card that came with mine has so much space! It won't match current cameraphone qualities, but you can't put your phone on a keychain either. This camera you probably could (but you wouldn't want this to get beat up in a pocket or purse like keys do). I quite like it. šŸ™‚ ... show more

    • Itā€™s a toy but itā€™s a fun one.
Color: Black
I love TLR cameras, enough that I use a few for fun simply because I like the process. This delivers a pint sized version of that experience with the ease of digital imaging. Itā€™s not great but itā€™s good enough for most things and itā€™s fun. The design is very similar to the mini-digi Rolei but at a fraction of the cost. While I havenā€™t used one of those this seems to give a similar experience and similar results. I wish it had more accessories, a leather case maybe, and nicer strap options. The only real issues I have are that itā€™s plastic, and feels a little fragile, the strap points are too small for most after market options and thereā€™s no tripod attachment on the bottom. Given what the camera is, and its cost, those are squarely in the wants as opposed to needs category. The nicest thing is it drops into a jacket pocket easily. Iā€™d like a lens cover but so far Iā€™ve not scratched the plastic lens. Itā€™s fun. Thatā€™s really the only point and the price is good for that. If they offered a larger one Iā€™d buy that too. ... show more

    • Novelty Piece
Color: Red
I went with the red because it looked better than the standard black, which is what I see everyone has & honestly loved I paid extra money for the color. Looks better and stands out. Definitely get a lot of looks when using. It has a color mode and black-and-white mode. The pictures and video are low quality, which is expected for a $40.00 toy camera. This is more for fun use and lightweight. Don't expect much from it. I gave it four stars simply because it came with no instructs and there are very few videos about this camera online, so you're stuck playing with it, but likely it has very few functions. It also shows two separate lenses, but one has no function whatsoever. It's just for aesthetic purposes. I hope if they ever do a second model that they actually make the two lenses work for different purposes. Also, you have keep this way from water. Obviously a cheap camera like this is not waterproof, but you actually have to keep it away from the ocean as it is not sealed properly, so you will immediately see your lens fog up from the inside. I live right next to the ocean, which is how I discovered this problem on day one. ... show more

    • Great price on a surprisingly nice little camera!! A gift very well received!
Color: Black
I ordered this and gave it as a gift. The young lady is still using it nearly a year later and loves it! It's very cute and retro. Seemed easy to use. She took several pics at a recent graduation, just for fun, and they really turned out well. Would definitely consider gifting another! But I would include the case, which we did. The camera is small and should be protected. ... show more

    • Cute, Fun Toy
Color: Black
Review Image by Hillary Hanak
Camera is very small and cute and fun for shooting. The photos do well when there is a lot of light, but start to breakdown when used in lower light situations. The video is a neat idea, but you only get a few seconds after you turn the handle and in order to keep it going you have to keep turning the handle. Since the camera is so small it is hard to keep it steady to do so. I love the idea of this and it definitely has its uses if used for a fun toy. ... show more

    • This camera is both utterly random and hilariously wonderful.

Look, I buy a lot of cameras. I shoot Fujis. Iā€™m no stranger to eccentricity in camera design. But the tiny Chuzhao ā€œTLRā€ is by far the most delightfully bizarre camera that Iā€™ve ever seen. Itā€™s less a camera than it is a mushroom trip that happens to record JPEGs. Itā€™s everything that you want in a toy camera. Itā€™s profoundly weird, utterly random, and ridiculously funny. It shoots in color andā€¦sepia?!?!? As if someone thought that warming a black and white with a bonfire was reasonable, or just in case you needed a camera dialed in for a Civil War reenactment. Because who doesnā€™t? Itā€™s a square format lo-fi homage to the medium format era; itā€™s shaped like a twin lens reflex and shoots like one, through a single lens (šŸ˜‚); its user interface is completely insane and itā€™s absolutely amazingly fun to take pictures with. It records videos for as long as you wind the ā€œfilm advanceā€ knob, but randomly adds six extra seconds at the end of the recording, complete with a countdown. ROTFL! Why six seconds, in particular?!?!? Who knows. But I love it. Look, if you care about things like image quality, or battery life, proper exposure or even knowing the focal length of your lens, you have entirely missed the point. The front of the camera unapologetically proclaims: ā€œINSPIRATION AT YOUR FINGERTIPSā€ and ā€œCAMERAā€ and ā€œCAPTURE THE ESSENCE OF EVERY MOMENT,ā€ evoking the kind of self referential philosophical pedagogy that we all clearly need. A close look at the undeniably gorgeous packaging adds a final touch: ā€œCLASSIC BUT MORE.ā€ More, indeed. I couldnā€™t help but add a wrist strap. Iā€™m going to engineer a white mist filter for it. Itā€™s even threaded so you canā€¦put it on a tripod! šŸ¤£ Literally everyone who loves photography must get one of these strange little things. Itā€™s hilariously fantastic. ... show more

I like this little camera. Having a 1:1 (square) image sensor allows me to frame things differently. I prefer to use it for black-and-white photos. Unboxing was simple with little fanfare. Camera, strap, and charging cord; once I charged the camera, I quickly scanned the documents and began experimenting with its functions. I took a few pics driving through Wyoming. The images I posted have not been manipulated in a photo editor. ... show more
