I had been looking for a chunky knit throw/blanket for a futon on our screened porch, and had sent a few back because they were not as luxurious as the description would have me believe. There was one, supposed to be chenille, but very loose and looked like a novice craft project. I wanted chenille. Finally, I sprang for this and was NOT disappointed! It is warm to the touch and, while the knit is loose, it's very snuggly and cold air doesn't sneak through it. My husband, who is perpetually freezing, had it around him as we sat at the firepit a couple of weeks ago. He admitted that he was NOT cold (making it WELL worth the price just for that!) Absolutely LOVE this blanket!!! Soft, great color, seems to be well made, warm, and a great texture blanket. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the size of the blanket for the cost. Slightly smaller than I would have liked for the price, however, it does cover one adult. My kids hog this blanket as well. It is an expensive blanket but so far it is worth it.
