This may be advertised as double sided, but only one side is padded, and it's NOT the side that has the color stripes. All the pictures show the color stripes on top and you would think they should have put the pads there! Even the reverse tag is on the stripes side. One big factor was the color stripes for me, so not having the paddling on that side was very disappointing. ... show more

This one took me a while to install, it is very long. Too long for my previous hammock stand, I ended up using a tree and post instead because I was afraid any stand I got would bottom out and I didn't really want to get a huge stand that would take up too much room. Now that it is installed, I will say that this is very comfortable and wide. We have some 6 footers in the family and they fit great, but I wouldn't necessarily say that two people could comfortably stay in this hammock, unless you're cuddling. This hammock is made really well, I like the quilted feel of the fabric, and the pocket is an absolute bonus! I love that it has the spreader bars because my last hammock did not and WOW what a world of difference getting in and out of a hammock with them is, probably my favorite feature! The pillow that comes with this is not so robust, but easy to fix by adding a couple of outdoor decorative ones to the mix. It hasn't been up that long, but the ropes seem to be really sturdy. It did stretch a bit after a few times, but I just tightened it up to increase the tension and now it's great. I will see how well the textiles and stitching hold up to the weather over time, but so far, I am enjoying it. ... show more

I put this on my 12 foot stand (the description says is 142", or 11ft 10in, ring to ring) and it clipped on too easily. Once I was in it, I was still clear of the ground, but if I had two people in it, it would have bottomed out. So that's the main reason I'm docking a star, it should be clear you want to use this with a 13+ foot gap. Other than that though... It is really nice. I like the soft smooth padded surface with a very wide area that is plenty big enough for 2 regular sized people (as long as they don't exceed 450lbs total). I also like the pillow and the side pocket. overall, it's a great hammock if you have a big enough stand. ... show more

This is a very well made, excellent quality hammock. It's made out of a thick, quilted canvas fabric. The terra cotta color is very pretty (it looks like burnt orange to me). It's spacious enough for 2 people to lay in it without being cramped & as a bonus, it has a pillow for additional comfort. We hung ours between 2 trees, (where our old one was) so installation was simple for us. What I like best about this hammock is the quilted fabric. I never liked our old knotted rope hammock because after laying on it for awhile, the ropes/knots hurt my back side (even with a blanket covering them). Thanks to this hammock, those days are over! I look forward to comfortably relaxing in my new hammock! This would make a great gift for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. I definitely recommend it 🙂 ... show more

The CHULIM Double Quilted Fabric Hammock with Hardwood Spreader Bars and Pillow 450 LBS Capacity is a true two person hammock. It's extremely comfortable and relaxing to lay on and the sewn on side pocket is perfect for phones and other small items. It is sturdy and durable and definitely designed to hold up outdoors. We store ours in a deck box when not in use which is easy to do by rolling it up end to end. It takes very little room to store for such a large item. The difference between this and our previous hammock is primarily that is quilted and that's why it's more comfortable. The quality of materials and workmanship in this hammock is top notch and it shows. We're very pleased with the CHULIM Double Quilted Hammock and consider it an outstanding value! ... show more

This hammock is amazing. I can't believe how big it is. My husband and I both got on it and we didn't feel crowded at all. It is so comfortable and soft with its quilted design. I got it for when we go camping, but my husband set it up on the patio temporarily so we could test it out. The pillow is a very nice addition to this hammock. It is soft and comfy too. I also am very happy with the pockets. They are very handy for placing your phone, books, snacks and even your drinks in. They eliminate the need for a table next to it. This is a very good quality hammock and the best one I've ever had. It's sturdy, thick, comfortable and will be warm on the back area in the cold weather.
