I'm a little disappointed. My colors looks dull where as on Amazon, the color looks rich. The arms sit up too high. Looks a little strange.

    • Classy mid century look in a recliner that doesn't look like a recliner
I like the look and color of this chair. It's perfect for our mid century home and decor. It's comfortable, but on the firm side; not a recliner you sink down into and get swallowed by. The reclining mechanism works well; you just push back against the arms. Do understand that this is not a "zero clearance" recliner. In other words, you need a foot and half or more behind the chair for it to recline. Many recliners work by having the seat move forward, allowing you to place them very close to the wall. This one does not. I would give it five stars, but the gap between the wing and the arm of the chair is wider than pictured in the two that I bought. It's a little picky, but the chair would look better with less of a gap. ... show more

The chair itself is nice and cute but the wings on the chair are not the same as you can see in the photo. There is quite a space/gap difference. Had this not been an issue I would give this chair 5 stars, unfortunately for me, it's an issue.

Not the same color as pictured. Much lighter. Also like others mentioned there are large gaps between the back and arm rest even in most upright position leading to a sloppy unfinished look

This chair is MISERABLE! So stiff and very disproportionate. I'm 5'2" and the back doesn't come up to half the back of my head. The arms are very low. The first recline position , it lifts your legs slightly; the second recline just flattens you out, and doesn't lift your feet any further. AWFUL. What a disappointment! This chair should be illegal ... show more

The color is definitely not as rich as the picture portrays. I thought it would be a deep teal like my wall, but it's very dull, almost green. But it's in my bedroom so I can deal with it. It's not very comfortable, but I'm hoping that will change over time (I've only had it a day). Otherwise its seems like a good deal for the price. ... show more

My ONLY fault (are you listening Christopher Knight??) is I can't buy the same chair in a larger size. This is perfect for a woman; but my 6' 1" tall son hangs over the bottom and the top. If you have a larger one which looks like this, I'll take it!

Bought this to replace a chair that was stylish but really uncomfortable. I am so happy with this purchase, beautiful color, nice design, and comfortable. I have quite a bit of Christopher Knight's furniture because it is gorgeous, great prices, and holds up well.
