I had back surgery and all our chairs/sofas are too soft. This works for me since it's very hard!! I don't mind but others may find it very uncomfortable. I emailed the company and they said that's just how it is!! The fabric is a very nice velveteen - soft.

The chair is beautiful in my bedroom and the color is true to the picture. It is a bit stiff so I don't think I would recommend it for everyday use, but it serves its purpose as a decorative chair. The recline is the best part about it because it counteracts the stiffness when sitting.

Very attractive chair arrived quickly! I own two other similar chairs from a different company and love them. This pretty chair however is not comfortable in the recline position. Too much trouble to return I’m making do with extra pillows and such.
