I absolutely love this coat. It is well made, warm and stylish. The detachable vest and collar zip up to keep your chest and neck toasty warm. You can button over the sweater vest to give you addition warmth. The military pea coat design means it has a large collar the can stand up for added protection from wind and cold. I have reserved my review until after I have worn this jacket for about a month. The fit is perfect, though the removable collar is somewhat of a distraction, and is poorly designed, making for an awkward look when unzipped...and when zipped, it simply looks too small for the fit of the rest of the coat. Though I can see a benefit for a colder day, I removed it completely. Overall the fit of the coat is slim and fitting. I am 6'2" and 215 and purchased a large. It looks great. Some of the pockets are functional, some are for looks only. As far as the quality goes, I didn't expect much for this price point. It is satisfactory. I found the jacket nice enough to invest in having a seamstress secure all the buttons as the thread was already unraveling upon arrival, and were deteriorating quickly after a couple of days. The shape has held up well over a month now, but can see that the fabric loosens and could lose some of its shape over time. Over-all if you are looking for an inexpensive yet stylish jacket for temperatures no cooler than 40 degrees, I would definitely recommend this jacket.

I ordered Thick-grey color, which should be Dark Solid inner collar Buttoned on the peacoat, and zipper on the side.( I dont really care if it is black or dark grey cuz I understand different computer have different color tone.) However, what I have received the inner collar is Brown Plaid and connected with zipper on both sides. I requested a replacement, and hoped I can get the real correct style cuz I think the quality is good, and I can accept the zipper instead of buttons. I was wrong...look at the photos, I put them side by side so you can tell not even the collar is still in wrong style, the peacoat color is different too... I guess one of it is the Grey color, but I have no idea which one is my real Thick-grey. I chose Thick-grey because I dont like the plaid pattern, it looks old school in this peacoat design. but they both with different brown of plaid pattern, maybe they are mixed with Thick-khaki?? Maybe the seller just copy the similar style from others?? So disappointed, it was a surprise birthday gift for my fd, he loves the style, but I still care ignore that brown plaid collar. I dont know if I should give it 1 more chance and request another replacement again, or refund them all...

The bad....I purchased a XXL like everything else I ware. The reviews say true to size yet mine was way way to big. A bit loose on the body, sleeves to long. And I can fit 2 arms with room to spare inside the arm. I dont know if they messed this one up or if it is the norm... Ok now the good.... I really liked the look of the material. Heavier than I expected, a good thing! ( many are thin and cheap) I had no issues with the construction. seams and hems are nice, buttons appeared well attached. Looked really nice. As nice as any Filson brand I've owned just not 100% wool. I ordered the next size down (XL) and will see if the fit is better, The XXL will fit a Gorilla.
