This pedal is amazing! Sounds better than expected, and has prompted me to purchase more pedals from Amazon. A circuit is a circuit, so I believe many of these pedals are just as good as the big name ones we all recognize. If there is anything that I’d address, it would be that my Boss power supply will not quite fit in the opening in the housing. If the hole was slightly larger, it would work just fine.     • Very decent tones, insanely loud foot switch.
I honestly didn’t hate the tones this pedal can give you, some pretty nice dirt all around (so I gave two stars) but the amount of pressure you need to activate the button is absurd. Pressing the pedals foot switch sounds like a nerf gun going off. Maybe it’s a rare issue, maybe I just received a bad one. You get what you pay for and I can’t justify keeping it. ... show more

    • This boost pedal only boosts the mid and high frequencies.

I returned this pedal and purchased a TC Spark mini boost pedal. The PP-26 BOOST pedal looks really nice and is built well. The problem is it sucks all the low mid and low frequencies out of the signal going out to the amplifier. It is more of a treble boost and a poor one at that. I have since read similar reviews. I use this pedal in a 2 piece noise/ambient/whatever project currently. I love it. I use the &$@! out of it. I was surprised at how not twentysix dollar-ry sounding it is. It sounds kinda British/Marshally tone-wise and it’s a solid little pedal for the price in my opinion. And it has a devil on it. If it died tomorrow I would spend a whole $26 USD and get another one. I dont like that the volume cut is as bad as it is. It will take 25 percent of your volume and softens the high end clarity a bit. Would not buy again but am not massively disappointed for $26.00 USD.
