  • Need three arms.
Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
Might work great. Comfortable when you can get it on. This product needs re-engineering because unless you have an extra set of hands to help you into it, you will struggle to get it on.

  • TRC (torn rotator cuff)
Size: Large (Pack of 1)
I am 'up there' in age and have always had hyper-flexible joints. Almost a year ago I literally woke up with a Right Torn Rotator Cuff. PT at a local hospital did not seem to help and in favoring my right side by overusing the left I somehow ended up with both shoulders with torn rotator cuff symptoms (confirmed by CT). Desperate for relief and by occasionally clamping one hand around the other arm to do a chore without pain, I intuited that there MUST be something similar to a tennis elbow cuff to assist with the pain...if not I would have to devise one (am retired RN). Luckily, someone saved me the trouble and I found these and bought two, one for each arm. I no longer wake screaming in the night because I have inadvertently cause myself pain by moving the 'wrong' way in my sleep. Do not wear these 24 hours a day, and if you develop pain/tenderness in the arm below the cuff, remove or readjust because you are impinging either on a nerve or major vessel. I have found that my pain free movement (sans the bands) increases with use of the bands..they seem to provide the 'rest' needed for healing the muscles and tendon. Placement is essential, and it is difficult to apply alone (which cost it one star), but have found that bracing it against an object while I reach for the velcro strap helps. BTW, the covered plastic brace is essential, otherwise it would be the same a just tying a fabric strip around your arm which does not help and can be dangerous. My new PT had never heard of this aid, so I came back to gather info for her. ... show more

  • Not big enough for me in width but use it anyway
Size: Small (Pack of 1)
Could have used a wider band but using it anyway

  • Awkward to put on!
Size: Large (Pack of 1)
The band is difficult to put on and the original sales info does not suggest two people but information with strap says it’s easier with two people

  • Exactly what I needed
Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
I developed tricep tendonitis from overdoing push ups and pull ups using P90X. I purchased this to use during a rest period to let my arm heal itself. I wore this every day and limited the use of the arm, and in a few weeks I was back to normal. I resumed exercising without any problems, although I did wear it for awhile when doing anything with my arms. This can be a little tricky to get on if you're trying to "thread" it with one hand while not dropping it. Also, it has to be up high enough on the arm to get above the bicep or it quickly slips down your arm. I used it underneath long sleeve shirts that I wore to work and had to adjust it a few times a day. I found this to be exactly what I needed (after internet research and self diagnosing), and I would recommend it. ... show more

  • Slides down
Size: Small (Pack of 1)
This is the second band I've ordered. Going by the size chart, I needed a Medium, however, that was too big. Unfortunately, these are non-returnable. But because they aren't as wide as the other arm bands of this type offered, I then ordered a size Small. The small seems to fit better, however it just slides down my arm. I had my husband tighten it for me b/c I thought, doing it by myself, perhaps I was at an odd angle, but it still just slips down my arm. Maybe these only work if you're swimming, which I am not. I just want some relief and hopefully, prevention, of arm pain from working in the yard, etc. ... show more

  • Was able to continue playing pickleball.
Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
The only thing I disliked is I needed a second person to make it tight enough

  • Some Relief Using the Cho-Pat Arm Strap
Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
This upper arm strap definitely helps with the pain that starts at my shoulder and travels down through my bicep area. Once you get the "hang" of it - adjusting the placement and amount of pressure on your arm for the most pain relieving benefit, it is simple to use. While there is no miracle product that is going to stop pain altogether, this strap has assisted me in being able to do at least some workout with my sore arm. Once in a while, the pressure may back off but it is easy to cinch tighter. It would be more helpful if the strap was just a half to an inch wider, but overall I am very satisfied with this product. ... show more
