It arrived in 3 days after the order was placed and worked right out of the box. The battery only lasted one week. We followed charging instructions to the letter. A new battery costs almost as much as I paid for the Hover Board. I feel like I was ripped off.

Bought this for my husband for Father’s Day, but our three kids (5, 7 & 9) ride it the most and are way better than we are. The battery life is good and if you follow the instructions to balance it, it operates smoothly. This item worked very well right up until it didn't. The unit after three weeks of minimal use (indoor only) started to have issues. The unit would suddenly be very sporadic in its' movement and then shut down without warning. Charging the device did not seem to help. The low battery warning did not activate, which leaves us to believe there was something wrong with it. It should also be noted that the charger got extremely hot when charging. ... show more

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas 2018. By the beginning of April 2019, I need to replace the battery. She only rode it around the house, maybe an hour a day, but every day. There is no warranty on this hoverboard, and i can not find a replacement battery. The instruction manual doesnt have a website to order replacement parts from. Ive looked on Amazon for a battery and googled it. Have not seen a battery for this hoverboard. Most Batteries are $70 on average. They should last longer then 4 months. ... show more

Gave this to my son on May 26th for his birthday. Its only August 13th and the left wheel drive is locking up. it gets super gittery and has no control. TO get it to work he has to balance against a table and wiggle it back and forth until it corrects itself. Not happy at all, its only 3 months old! I looked through the users manual and there is no contact information to let the manufacturer know something is wrong, or get support. Buy with caution! ... show more

    • Junk!!! Didn't last a month!!!!

My son loved this at first. Within a month with daily use in driveway and sidewalk, all cement, one side wheel clicks and is unusable. Sellers solution was to reset which didn't work. $180 Wal-Mart ones the neighbor kids have is still going while this one is a $150 paper weight. Junk!!!!

Woke up Christmas morning and realized realized there was a huge crack on the wheel. I could see the light coming from side. This caused it to be loud and sound like the wheel was rubbing against something. I tried covering it and tried to glue it back together because my son wanted to ride it Christmas morning. To no avail. I bought the same for my daughter in a different color and hers is perfect. Hopefully I’ll get a prompt replacement and I’ll update this review if so. Also good thing I have video and pictures Christmas morning of him turning it on and I can see the light piercing through on the left side. Update: My son just wanted to at least ride it around the house. The battery only lasted 15 minutes but my daughters’ is kicking right along. As of January 1st still no replacement. ... show more
