I bought this for my wife right before she gave birth to our son. We’ve only had it for a couple months, but it has delivered on our hopes. The faux leather is actually pretty soft and comfortable, even on the back of your legs when you sit down during the night (not hard or cold). We also bought some faux leather conditioner that did cost $25 but was well rated to improve durability and longevity, with the goal of minimizing any risk the faux leather will get brittle and start cracking or peeling. It seemed to absorb well, and we used it on our other faux leather products around the house. The construction feels sturdy as long as you sit in the middle of the chair like normal. It’s supportive and we’re 5’ 6” @ 200 lb and 5’ 8” @ 180 lb. Back is tall enough to lean our head back on it with comfortable support. The swivel, glide, and electric recline all function excellently and are butter smooth. Small increments on the recline might be a little jumpy starting and stopping, but in motion and for full movements it’s great. Definitely better than manual recliners. The wood and metal frame components are solid. Assembly was extremely simple, just click and lock after taking off the box and packaging. Everything came in good working order with no damage from shipping or otherwise. The color fits in our room well, and the size is quite reasonable for a product in this category. We needed something that could fit in the corner of our smallish master bedroom with all our other baby furniture, and this did the trick. ... show more

It’s so comfortable, attractive, and practical. It’s a lot less expensive than other gliders we were considering, and I’m so glad we didn’t spend the extra money; this glider is premium quality in terms of fabric, comfort, aesthetic, and sturdiness. This chair is comfortable, looks great in my baby girl’s nursery, and has the functionality I was looking for (rocking, swivel, and power reclining). I wanted the faux leather over the fabric for the sake of keeping it clean in a baby nursery. I had read a few reviews about the power recliner being too slow but I do not have that as a problem. The recline function is fast and the chair is a dream. Styling this chair: This chair looks particularly good when you pair it with blues and greens to balance it out. I originally had a dusty pink curtain and it overpowered the color scheme between the brown leather and the pink hues. I’d buy this chair again and have recommended it to friends. I can't speak to the longevity of this chair as we just received it, but so far it has been a lifesaver. I ordered it a week before it was delivered on a night when I almost had to spend the night in our comfy, but non-reclining rocking chair in my 8 month old's room because she was on night two of being sick and congested, and she cried every 5 minutes in her crib because she couldn't breathe through her nose, and would only fall asleep while being held. Unfortunately, in the week it took to be delivered, she got better....and then sick again. Hooray for daycare. This time, however, we have this chair. I spent the beginning of the night in it with her, and am now back in it at 4am. It is comfy. It is quiet. It rocks well when in the upright position. I need a pillow behind my head when it reclines, but that's my preference. It smells like a new piece of upholstered furniture, but I know that dissipates in a day or two. The recline is super smooth. The USB port on the side is key. I remember going back and forth about what rocker to get when I was building my baby registry, and decided on a plain, upholstered rocking chair, which has been fine until this point....if anyone reading this is on the edge about what to get for your nursery - go with this. A little more expensive, but will save you in a situation like this!! And the baby's room still looks cute with it. For reference, I'm 39, 5'7, midsized and pregnant. I get uncomfortable very easily these days. My 6'2 husband also found the chair comfy. He is also sick or else he'd be on this morning shift... We both like that the seat is very deep, and it doesn't take up any more room than our old rocker with a footrest did. Was it delivered directly in front of my garage instead of 5 feet to the left on the sidewalk so that I had to move it into the garage on my own before I could park the car? Yes. But that's not the chair's fault, that's on FedEx. I saw you on the doorbell cam, buddy... Was it a pain for me and my husband to lug upstairs? Yes but it was doable. Furniture straps helped. It being in two pieces doesn't really matter because the back is super light, all of the weight is in the base. But we did it without waking the baby up so whatever. Buy it. It's comfy. The baby is asleep, and I could be too if it wasn't for pregnancy insomnia 🙃 ... show more

Purchased the dove grey version. Very comfortable and excellent customer service/communications. It’s not a huge hulking chair, which is why we liked it. I’m 6’3” and it’s just right (could almost be a little bigger/longer, but then we’d end up with a huge hulking chair!). Very fast delivery via FedEx…as usual thoroughly beat up! Two-piece assembly was very easy - less than five-minutes. Not too heavy, but you might want another person to get it into place. I’m holding my breath that the power mechanism doesn’t fail in short order, but only a few have had issues. Solid construction and nice soft material. Down side: (1) doesn't lock when lifted - continues to rotate; (2) base is a round metal frame vs. wood, and is not padded, so have to apply floor pads or purchase a pad.
